I think being autistic has made me realize how extremely hostile the environments we have designed are. And I don't mean "this environment is uniquely hostile to me because I am autistic" I mean that even normies are just existing in brutal, stagnant spaces, they have just internalized them as normal. We could have it all, we could live in such a beautiful and fascinating world, designed by humans and for humans who actually enjoy life and it's complexity and wonder. but even now it's like, seen as kinda hippy-dippy bullshit to have "excessive" indoor plants in a workspace or something

the sentiment of analyzing why the US doesn't have manufacturing jobs & why the periphery manufacturing circumstances tend to be so miserable is great but you shouldn't talk of manufacturing jobs as if they can only be done by Low Paid Miserable Workers in the Pollution Housing Area That Poisons Everyone. that's not a correct view manufacturing and nor helpful if you believe a world outside the current miserable capitalism is possible

Today I was trying to chat up this girl standing with her friend at a lesbian bar and said “oh are you two together?” meaning were you friends before being next to each other at this bar and one turns to the other and goes with all the venom of a black mamba snake “I don’t know Cara, are we?” and I was like you know what? not my table
