I would really love FR to implement a tertiary gene where an accent color is dominating in coverage. Did some quick mockups for very desired Points tertiary, both of these show Rust, with the dark purple accent color being pulled from Pinstripe gene. I think it makes sense for Points to be the Phar/Sarc of tertiary genes, as in real animals the actual points are dark. So! Pulling a dark accent color from Noxtide's stripes or Pinstripe's legs makes sense to me :>

Poll 2.0: Flair Mane Future

It’s the poll. The FINAL final poll. The best poll. After getting some rest under our belts and reading through the community’s feedback, we are doing another poll, and extending the end date of the poll by another day to December 31 at 6:00 server. Can only imagine what a time staff is having right now. Security announcement, then gene fix, then quickly going back on the gene fix because they realized they messed up, then the security issues get bad enough that they decide to put the site into unscheduled maintenance? All during notn? Are they okay ??

obelisk mane poll clarification

Back at it again. Just to clarify the results.

OPTION 1: Manes like the pearlcatchers/imperials/skydancers/wildclaws/tundras originally had, with the inner wing color being used as a gradient across the original mane color.

This picture is a bit misleading. I should add that the gradient on this mane is much more intense than most other colors have. For instance, dust, cinnamon, and phthalo have entirely lost their gradients and much of their sparkles.

This means that obelisks will change and all other breeds will stay the same.

OPTION 2:  Manes like the obelisks originally had, with the outer wing gradient across the inner wing color used as the mane base. Also sparkles.

This means obelisks will stay how they are, but  pearlcatchers/imperials/skydancers/wildclaws/tundras will change to adopt a more obelisk look. We don’t know what this looks like, because we don’t have more examples besides this one provided.

Do with this information what you will. The poll is here, unless they decide to issue another poll again.
