Two Time flinched at the loudness of the voice, but simply just folded their headwings to make it quieter, because it was quite sudden.

They sighed, "Warn me next time you decide to do this, I'm not a fan of yelling."

You mentioned the heights a while ago. How much do you know about the place?

"As much as anyone else would. It's the original home of my species, and it's the place where most of the bladed weapons of the world came from."

They crossed their arms, looking mildly displeased with this question.

"I've never personally been there, so dont ask me more. Ask the admins that lived there."

They set the bread down where the rest of it had been earlier, then stepped back a good few paces, "I'd bring something better, but my ingredients are quite limited, my apologies... I thought you'd like some of the bread I've made recently - since you seem to be troubled." Troubled was likely an understatement, but there likely wasn't an actual modern word for what they were witnessing.

They approached slowly. Holding another loaf of the bread, they held it out carefully, probably knowing they're likely to lose a little more than a finger or two right now.

"I have more - here," they were speaking quite softly.

As for why they're holding it, that's a LONG story. You might learn it, you might not.

Maybe ask the Architect? The Hawk and the Owl might know, but I doubt you could get them to talk to you if you tried. There's a link to their blogs in the pinned post :P

"They might have been a bit too enthusiastic about that. I honestly tried to tell them not to hurt you kids, but no, nobody listens to the person who actually knows what they're talking about," they sighed in annoyance. They stood up straight for a second before realizing they were still in the cabin and forcing themselves back to their usual scrunched-up height.

Their scarf reached up and gently pushed her hand and the scepter back down, "No need to hit me, you can ask quite a few of your fellow 'c00llings' i do not harm the children, it would go against my morals and my religion."

Two time looked at her, tilting their head in concern, "Are you alright?" They seemed quite genuinely concerned. They actually knelt down in front of her, considering their height it could be to try and not be intimidating - since they did know what the others of their namesake had a habit of doing.

They hummed - an echoing thing - looking around the cabin, "not much to do here unfortunately, I think we have a guy staring at an image of a panda upstairs if you want to go join him.. ah, and that dance dance revolution game - just no long or pointy items while playing it - I'd hate for you to hurt one another on accident."

They had clapped their hands together while talking. Having leaned over so far there had to be at least one 90° angle to their spine, "if you need anything i recommend going to a 007n7, a guest 1337, or myself (not the others - I do not trust the others of my name)," they were talking rather quickly, at least you could understand them.
