if you know you've been overeating and binging a lot lately DO NOT jump straight into hard restrictions!!!
you're just gonna end up hungry all the time and binging again cuz your body is used to big portions of food! you have to let your stomach shrink or you're just gonna hurt yourself! if you know you're eating a lot even 2/3 of that is a good beginning, and you can work your way up where you want to be, without pain and thinking about food 24/7! (I know what I'm talking about, been there, done that) also it helps keep your housemates away, they WILL notice if you go from eating EVERYTHING to eating 2 apples a day.
start slowly, take your time, even if that means weeks or months, remember - your health and mental state is more important. doing it this way also helps with not going back in 2 days.
please take care of yourselves! <3

all thanks to tracking macros ✌ (and cutting out added sugar)
i literally don't even restrict tbh! no godawful suffering and that feeling of being hungry 24/7 and dying to eat anything involved, likely bc my blood sugar stays so consistent bc of the high protein/fats instead of spikes and drops from sugars
(i do still eat carbs! just not as many as i used to, and try to stay away from added sugars, especially processed foods. so i'll still eat pasta or rice or whatever, or even homemade muffins or cookies, but not like, idk like?? packaged foods i guess? like chips or candy)

i've lost enough weight and the exercise i've done is very physically visible on my body and i love it lmfao
like you can start to see my abs and you can def see my collarbones, my hipbones, the veins in my hands, its so good
best part is it looks "healthy"!! my orthorexic/anorexic ass gets to count calories, macros, weigh stuff on a food scale, only buy foods that have no added sugar and are low carb, and exercise every single day for hours, and hell, i'm being praised for it 💕
been on a plateau for a few weeks though and it's pissing me off, ate a bit more carb heavy foods yesterday and today and with a few sugar-y snacks like donuts, here's hoping my metabolism will catch the hint :/
lol plus being on two medications that are actively appetite suppressants literally makes my ed easy and even ENJOYABLE. i actually like exercising w ring fit adventure, i actually don't mind eating too much bc i know protein and fats won't make me gain any, it's those huge carb-bombs and anything with tons of added sugar that are what make u gain
(natural sugars are fine because they contain fibers which counteracts sugar's high-low spikes on blood sugar, hence why it's not necessarily total carbs/sugars, it's net carbs)
it's such a blessing and a curse to be so knowledgeable about how the body works along w exercise/food ect lmfao, gotta love it,, #just orthorexic tings
