I've been having a lovely birthday, drawing, eating cake and playing showdown (blind table tennis)

Came home yesterday from a 4 day trip to Prague. It was I think the best trip overseas I've ever had. I went to many museums, looked at a lot of old buildings, walked 6-8 hours a day and bought a lot of books. Now I'm at home recuperating and resting my tired legs

I've been cat sitting Frosti for a month while my parents are on vacation. I'll miss him terribly when I go home tomorrow. He used to be my cat but I moved to a fourth floor apartment and he's a outdoor cat. So he moved in with my parents and I cat sit when they are away. He's such a sweet boy and he loves my mom.

I've started knitting some fingerless mitts from the leftovers of my sock yarn, I am using the same stitch pattern as I used for the socks I've just finished and I'm making the rest up on the go. The yarn is Cascade heritage

A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking - T. Kingfisher

Finished this yesterday, it's definitely my favorite T Kingfisher book and I love all her books (well except a house with good bones, I don't really like ghost stories). Her female characters are amazing.
