Korean Chap Chye

So I’ve come to terms with the fact that “japchae” is actually the Korean version of my childhood favourite “chap chye”. 😛

The main difference between our Singaporean chap chye and Korean japchae is this iconic sweet potato noodles. The texture is chewy and the whole dish is ultimately thriving on sugar.

Between the two, I am honestly a fan of our Singaporean…

Shimbam doesn’t get sick often. When I say sick I mean high fever, runny nose, cough and cold, shivering, no appetite kinda sick. No. She gets “demam pandai” I never knew what that was until I experienced it with her myself. It’s during these days that I get to see amazing developments like yesterday. In the first video I subconsciously took a pair of chopsticks for her, I really wasn’t thinking when I did that. Halfway through the meal when I realised that she was actually eating with the chopsticks I was just 😳 and then I timelapsed her. Homaigawd. Tell me your little ones do this too! They’re growing up WAY too fast don’t you think??? The second video is not the first time I saw her do this but I decided to record it anyways. Just goes to show me that I gotta be really careful with this girl at heights. My girlfriend said that she’s pretty advanced, and I think she amazes me everyday. #Alhamdulillah #Mashaallah

Our new pet rabbit! We have our pet rabbit in school ! Class honesty loves to see the rabbit and they will discuss about the rabbit, such as what the colour of the rabbit, how long is the rabbit’s ear with each other. Through this, the children improve on their social skills. (at Spring Brainy Kidz at Ubi)
