Grow out your fingernails, girl

You can have beautiful fingernails. All you need to do is take care of them. If you need to be low key about your femininity, go with a natural nail look.

1. Keep them shaped and nourished.

Use a nail file or emory board, not clippers. Be gentle.

2. Grow them out to the length you want, and keep them shaped at the length you like.

Use a nail strengthener to prevent breakage. They’re clear and not too shiny!

3. When you feel ready or daring, apply some clear or nude polish.

This will have the added benefit of better protecting your nails. You won’t be able to stop noticing how pretty they look, but it’s a subtle look. Most people won’t notice.

4. Be careful though! You may love how your hands look with longer nails, and you may feel the need to grow them out longer.

Then you will want to choose what shape you like.

5. But that’s okay! Why shouldn’t you have long pretty nails?
