Is it worth it to do a B.Sc at the age of 24, then an M.Sc and then the CSIR NET (including age relaxation)?

National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NET exam on behalf of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research on the bi-yearly basis for those who want to make their career in Research and Lectureship field.
NTA CSIR NET is conducted in five subjects which are -
Earth Sciences
Physical Sciences
Chemical Sciences
Life Sciences
Mathematical Sciences
Candidates having or pursuing their Master’s degree in Science Stream are only eligible to take this exam.
They should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters’ if they are from General/ OBC Category or if they belong to SC/ST/PwD categories they should have scored minimum 50% aggregate.
To apply for the CSIR NET JRF exam candidates should fulfill the age criteria also i.e.
For General - 28 years
For OBC - 3 years relaxation in age limit
For SC/ST/PWD/female applicants - have upto 5 years relaxation in age criteria.
There is no age criteria is applicable for Assistant Professor.

What articles can one carry at the exam center of CSIR NET?
Hello,
The aspirants are required to bring following things at the CSIR NET exam centre -
CSIR NET Admit Card with the passport sized photograph attached to it.
Passport size one photograph which will be affixed to the attendance sheet.
It is advised that candidates do not bring any other items to the exam centres. There will be no arrangement at the center for safe storage of any material. The NTA and the center shall not be liable for any loss, delay etc.

Is an M.Sc. in Embryology eligible for the CSIR NET exam?
NTA has decided some guidelines for the aspirants to appear for the CSIR NET Exam. According to that aspirants can apply with the subject in which they have completed their Master’s degree or related to that subject.
As Embryology is a branch of Biology. so you can appear for CSIR NET Life Sciences exam.
Along with this criteria you have to fulfill educational and age criteria also.
Candidates should have qualified post graduation with minimum 55% (General/OBC) or 50% (SC/ST/PwD/Transgenders).
If candidates want to appear for the NTA CSIR NET Junior Research Fellowship then they also have to fulfill the age criteria i.e. as follow -
For General – 28 Years Maximum Age
For OBC - 3 Years’ Relaxation in maximum age criteria.
For OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Transgenders/Women - 5 Years’ Relaxation in maximum age criteria.
If they want to apply for Assistant Professor then there is no need to follow any age criteria, they can apply when they want to.
As per the latest news, National Testing Agency has re-opened the online portal to fill CSIR NET 2020 Application Form from 22nd August 2020 to 10th  September 2020 for those candidates who have missed the chance due to the changed circumstances  arising out of COVID -19.

Yes, one can apply for CSIR NET exam after completed post graduation with minimum 55% (For General/OBC) or 50% (For SC/ST/PwD) aggregate marks in Medical Microbiology.
Or if you are enrolled in post graduation course then also you can appear in the exam.

What documents are required to fill in the UGC NET application form?
According to recent news NTA has started the UGC NET 2020 apply online process from 16th March 2020. You can apply for the exam till 30th June 2020 as NTA has extended the last date due to COVID-19 from 16th April 2020.
Before filling the application form firstly collect all the documents which are required.
Documents are as follow:
(i) Aadhar Card
(ii) 10th Marksheet, 12th Marksheet, Marksheet of Graduation & Marksheet of Masters’ Graduation.
(iii) Scanned passport sized photograph and signature
Please follow the steps given below to fill the application form for UGC NET exam :-
Step 1 – Firstly visit the official website and click on the “Apply Online” button.
Step 2 – When you click on that link, a window will open, where you need to fill your complete details.
Step 3 – After filling the complete details carefully, click on the “Submit” button.
Step 4 – When you did that a window will where you have to upload your photograph and signature.
Step 5 – After completing that you have to pay application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking.
Step 6 – At the last take a print out of the UGC NET application for the further use.

Academic Qualification for UGC NET:
The percentage criteria are given below according to different categories:

I have completed my post graduation diploma in banking and finance which is for one year. Can I fill out the UGC NET form?
As per UGC NET exam guidelines, aspirants with post-graduate diploma/certificate awarded by Indian University/Institute which is approved by Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi , are eligible to appear for the exam.
If you done your post graduation from these universities then you can apply for UGC NET.
NTA NET exam is conducted twice in a year in the month of June and December. The online UGC NET 2020 Application Form process has been started from 16th March 2020. And NTA has extended the last date of form filling from 16th April 2020 to 15th June 2020 due to universal pandemic COVID-19.
The exam will be held in July 2020 tentatively.
But before applying for the exam must check out the detailed UGC NET Eligibility Criteria whether you are eligible or not.
You should have minimum aggregate marks in post graduation degree/diploma which is decided by the National Testing Agency i.e.
For General - 55%
For OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Transgenders - 50%

Will the CSIR NET exam be postponed because of lockdown?
Hello,
As per the latest official notification CSIR NET 2020 application form process has been extended till 15th June 2020 due to Universal Pandemic Covid-19, so the exam will be obviously postponed. But till now there is no information about when it will be conducted. It will be held most probably in July 2020.
As there is only one month left to prepare for exam, you have to boost your preparation and revise all topics whatever you have studied till now.
Solving CSIR NET Previous Papers and mock test will be the best strategy for you to prepare in last one month before the exam. Through this, you can boost up your confidence level and you can analyze your performance as well.

Can a final year M.Sc student apply for CSIR UGC NET?
According the exam guidelines, aspirants who have completed masters’ degree or have enrolled for post graduation course can apply for the CSIR NET exam.
As you are in final year of M.Sc. so you can apply for CSIR UGC NET JRF and Assistant professor or both.
You must score minimum 55% aggregate marks (for General/OBC category) or 50% aggregate (for SC/ST/Pwd category) in M.Sc. degree.
And there is also upper age limit for Junior Research Fellowship is 28 years. Reserved categories’ aspirants get the relaxation of 5 years in age limit.
For Lectureship there is no upper age limit.
CSIR NET Exam is conducted in five subject, you can appear according to your branch in post - graduation.
