Month 12 (Reflection)
Wow! I’ve finally reached the end of my journey here at Full Sail University. This experience for me has been super intense yet rewarding at the same time. I’ve learned so much about myself and as a designer over the course of these 12 months. Full Sail has granted me the opportunity to become an extraordinary designer. They have developed a program like no other. By far I can honestly say Full Sail University gave me a sneak peek of what the designer industry has to offer. Before applying into the program I was kind of lost in my designs and development. Month 12 for me was the most intense, encouraging, empowering, and overwhelming month of them all. At the beginning of this month, I struggled with the passing of my grandmother in which was the hardest pill to swallow. With the help and support of my Professor, I’m not sure if I would be able to see this month through. The assignments that were given were clear in which made it easier to become engaged. She provided us with readings that would encourage us to dig deeper to support our theories. Just from the readings alone, I’ve learned that being an ethical person is a good practice to have. I’ve studied and read on case studies that provided me with the knowledge to help further develop my professional skills in my future career. This month has given me the confident to finally be able to say I’m proud to be a designer and proud of the work that I’m able to produce. Although this is just the beginning for me I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

Final Experience Map
The experience map was one of my favorite assignment to complete. At the beginning of the assignment I was excited and ready to start but as I started to progress my vision became blurred. I wasn’t sure how to depict or even tell my story because of all the things that have taken place. I had experience two deaths, transferring of jobs, and an engagement. My life has been through so many ups and downs and I honestly wasn’t sure if one picture could say all of that. In the end, though I finished with an experience that told a story from beginning to As you see the story was a little shaking due to uncertainty and the unknown. As I traveled along the way I was starting to think maybe this wasn’t for me or even the feeling of what have I forgotten myself into. I took a little break to get rejuvenated and I began the process again from the there the road seemed to clear of course with a few bumps in the road but I made it. end.

Month 11 Reflection
Over the course of this month, I feel I learned the most about myself and my work. This month has taught me different ways to evaluate my work, improve my writing skill and enhance my rationale presentation. The thesis project taught me how to look at my work and explain it in a way that relates to the learning outcomes for the program. I have taken different pieces of my work and created a presentation that I truly feel proud of. I got some time to fix and add some different things to work in order to give the viewers a full look at my thought process. I have improved my writing skills by asking for help and evaluation of my writing and tips on how to strengthen my text. After taking some time and writing about my works I’ve seen a great deal of improvement in my rationales. Before my rationales only scratched the surface of the assignment but after some review and help from Professor Kratz, I feel that I will able to explain my work in a creative and efficient way.
The thesis statement has made look at my work in a different light. This specific assignment taught me how to evaluate work and provide helpful feedback in order to make work better.
I actually took this assignment and recreated the logo for RDT and presented not only my process but I also included the refined logo of stationary to give the viewers a more realistic view of what the logo would look.
Creating my thesis also allowed me to look at my assignments and explain them but also draw references to the learning outcomes. Throughout the course of these four weeks feel that I am starting to understand who I’m as a designer. These four weeks has helped develop my creative process.

Month 10 Reflection
As I go back and reflect on the previous months I’ve seen my work transform into something I truly have become so proud of. I spent some time going back and refining some projects that I as well as the design committee needed additional work. I finally got the opportunity to apply what I had learned after assignments were due and apply those techniques to those specific pieces. As we begin to approach the days weeks and months of this wonderful processes it has become a bittersweet moment.
I was granted the opportunity to go back and refine my Behance portfolio in which I feel is becoming more professional the more I spend the time with it. Of course, I am going to continue to go back and refine projects that I feel that still may need some fine touches applied to them as well. I even spent some time removing projects that I felt no longer were necessary of the site and combined some the projects together as well. Moving forward to these last two months I will come to produce work that will be worthy for my portfolio.

Month 9 (Reflection)
Over the course of these past four weeks I’ve learned a lot about myself as well as my work. I went back and watched some videos from Lydna.com and did some research. This month I’ve been able to find new ways to help inspire me with new and innovative ideas. Month after month I’ve learned that research is the key to a great design as well as becoming a great designer.
Through all the adversity that I’ve been through this year it has only taught me to be a stronger person. It’s so hard to believe that we’re coming down to the last few months of this wonderful journey. Yet I am so thankful for the things I’ve been through thus far and will continue to press forward towards my end goal of Mastery.

Month 8 (Reflection)
This month for I feel has been the most rewarding. I was able to watch my work transform and I feel even close now to the finishing stage of Mastery. Over the past couple of weeks, I was able to go back and reflect on my previous works and dig deeper into the concepts. This month has taught me that research is power. By supporting my designs with strong research to back it solidified the reasoning and meaning behind the design works.
As I look back to the previous and see where my work was before compared to where it is now I see so much growth in myself and work. I am able to detect good and bad design issues in my work and find ways to resolve those issues. Soul Elephant I feel has been the most successful change done thus far. I was able to define the genre, target audience, and feel for my entire event by going back and doing some research. I was even able to reconstruct the genre title by adding R&B to the list. I found through my research that Soul music originated from R&B in the late 30s. So I wanted to keep alive the tradition created in the 1930s in the festival line-up.

Soul Elephant went through a full redesign stage. I had to go back and change the font family for the entire design which meant I needed to make those revisions for the logo design as well.

Soul Elephant is a festival R&B and Soul music festival created to bring awareness to the plight of African and Asian elephants. Over the past month, I've spent sometime redesign my web design and creating a consistent design focused on its target audience. Soul Elephant has an organic, feel flowing, peaceful feel that represents the genre of music played at the event.

Month 7 (Reflection)
During this month I went back and to a look at some of the previous assignments I turned in. I created a detailed schedule of how I was going to rework some of those projects. Month 7 was a month of reflection and learning. I was able to go back and apply methods that I have learned so far to previous projects and even learn new things about myself. I am learning that I am capable of more than what I think. This month has been an eye opener for me
