🛸👽Morph antenna discussion👽🛸

Very very very minor spoiler for Exiles! (#18-#19)

I can’t stop thinking about how Morph looks like a funky little alien (^O^) A lot of these thoughts came from a panel early on during Exiles, when Morph was being kidnapped by Mojo…

They grew antennas! Based on the context, it seems like they spurted out because Morph was surprised ♪( ´▽｀)

I think they look very fitting on Morph, imagine if they always had them. Maybe their antennas could show their mood? Like when they��re feeling sleepy their antennas slouch down, or when they’re happy they point upwards like pictured above?

Their antennas would also be sensitive, and another appendage to explore the world with. Like when they meet someone new, they gently poke their face with their antennas (not sure what purpose it would have other than getting into the other persons personal space though, maybe memorizing their face to shapeshift into later? Like feeling every little detail, every pore and every eyelash their target has. My personal hc is that they have photographic memory so for me at least, it wouldn’t make much sense). They could also feel for doorways with them before walking through lol.

Pulling on them would feel good for Morph(ﾟ∀ﾟ)

Though, antennas wouldn’t really make sense for them to have. Their appearance is very much a blank slate, they don’t have super identifying features like Wolverine with his cow licks, claws, short build or Storm with her striking blue eyes, white hair, and (sometimes) Mohawk. A lot of their appearance relies on them having no specific features which kinda turns back around to having a very unique appearance (idk if that made any sense) They’re basically a mannequin.

Actually 97’ Morph’s ears bother me a lot, they’re overly detailed. I don’t really understand why their ears of all things are super detailed, they have no pupils, no nose, and an average body type + height. So it looks super off. But thats a longer discussion for another day( ´Д`)y━･~~

In conclusion, Morph with antennas would look very cute but it would not be necessary for them nor would it fit with their blank slate appearance.

But I like it so therefore I think they should have antennas for my amusement.
