My very first post ever
Hello its been sooo long since I write on the internet! I used to have blog(s) in 2014 which I dont even use it anymore because im busy… no. Apparently im just lazy.
Its 2017 and im no longer in my teen so i guess i need to do everything seriously.. Im not always going to write in English because i am Malaysiaaan so i am gonna write in Malay too. Or… its because of my grammar has gotten really bad nowadays i dont know why. I need to improve it and here I am! A new platform to improve my English.
I am a bi-tri- fo- lingual person because i lived with 4 languages. 1) Malay 2) English 3) Korean (kpop & kdrama obsession) 4) Mandarin (mum forced me to learn this)
I love learning languages! Sebaaab its just that fun! Though learning Mandarin is by forcing… haha. My mum really really forced me to learn it because idk? Because she just want me to do so. So ikut je lah kan~
Learning Korean was so fun! I started to learn it on 2012 where I’ve been fed with kpop songs eveyday from my deskmate at school lol. She’s a kpopper tegar. Back then she really into Super Junior and Beast. But now, she’s an Exo-L. This cant be applied to me because im a multifandom. I love this that this that group. But recently i’ve got my eyes stucked into JYP’s boyband; DAY6.
DAY6 is so amazing yalls! They’re all very talented! I listen to their songs every single day. My current favourite songs are: 1. 예뻐서 (You Were Pretty) 2. 어껗게 말해 (How Can I Say) 3. 장난 아닌데 (Im Serious)
Their breakup songs are just that good. Good enough to feel like im having a real breakup too lol.
So back to the language, haha. I learned Hangeul from Wikipedia and practice it everyday. I learned the phrases from YouTube and I even bought some books on “How To Speak Korean”. And yea by today I can read Hangeul quite fast… With 30% understanding it. Hahaha well I didn’t have a proper class so its quite hard to understand everything written. But its okay, as long as I could understand my favourite songs im alright.
Learning Mandarin was sooooooo hard. I mean look at their words! Too much line or whatever it calls, in a character. But still it was quite fun to learn it. I learned Mandarin by taking classes. But I only took the class for Mandarin 1 because I dont have that much time to go to the Mandarin 2 class. But still, Im glad that I could take the Mandarin language in university. So I kinda improving my Mandarin.. But still, cant really speak it fluently lah. Haha.
Extras : I can speak Indonesian too! (With accent) Haha its simply because its language is quite similar to Malay language. So, easy peasy. Hahaha.
I guess thats all for this post. I’ll write later soon! Byeeez 😸
