Gilding
Something I took away from Nicaragua is the ability to just stop and feel the world around. Watch it. Hear it. Smell it.
With the abundance of pelicans, I became mesmerized with their swift ability to surf the sea. Using the power and lift created off the front of the wave, they can just slide through the air with little energy. Their gracefulness puts the surfer to shame, with their wings remaining still. If the wave crests, they flare up one after the other, creating a harmonious motion.
