Just when I thought my plans for my fanfic couldn’t get any wilder…

So there are literal anomaly hunters who go to differnt worlds and hunt for anomalies. Teyvat is a locked plane “don’t research the origin of worlds or whatever” like people who live there are locked in and can’t leave but when they die they can leave like their souls aren’t bound there. And the HP have no jurisdiction outside of Teyvat so that’s why they want to control their citizens.

But Kaeya through wonky abyss magic and also possession (I’ve decided if the Abyss is like the antithesis of the HP then people who are strong abyss users can travel between worlds [ahem, Surtalogi is also an anomaly] Kaeya can like see/teleport his mind/sometimes body to other worlds and also speak with the dead and it gets WILD.

This fic is gonna be way more insane than the first one and also much more violent and dark.

So the lore grows and grows for the fanfic there are a lot of characters now.

Like yes thinking about Ragbros instead of the election at 2 am is helping actually.

Ok but I saw some people debating Kaeya and Diluc being siblings in a YouTube comment. (Of course) but people’s argument for them not being siblings being “they hate each other” is so funny to me.

But it just reminded me of my fanfic how

Kaeya stops Diluc from offing himself and they sorta have a long talk on the dock too as kaeya is remembering his past then in Khaenri’ah Diluc comes to rescue Kaeya and Usura comes in too then Diluc blows up the thing and Kaeya and Usura escape. Diluc and Dain are literally buried under rubble and Aether peace out and Kaeya’s vision teleports to him on the surface and the each think the other is dead btw. Also kaeya goes back and Usura fights Rancourt and then they all end up back and Rancourt literally turns up the heat which makes Kaeya start slowly dying and having fever dreams and shit and Diluc is not on with this. Anyway Dain fixes it but when they fight Rancourt Diluc gives Kaeya the dagger Crepus gave him when Kaeya is disarmed and says he earned it and then Kaeya uses Diluc’s claymore to kill Rancourt (his abusive bio dad if you dont know the fic) and then Usura (his mom) Dain and Diluc all protect him from absorbing the dark energy. Usura literally dies and Dain says Sumerian custom is to bury with a weapon and Kaya can’t use his own or Rancourt’s so Diluc lets him use the dagger again and leave it which is like so……

And then there’s the follow up stories where they just bond with Clavia and chill at Kaeya’s house. And one of them Kaeya has his mind invaded by his literal evil stepmother and defacto ruler of Khaenri’ah Albina and she mocks his mom and other stuff and he’s not ok at all physically sick from the thing and also mentally not ok and Diluc Dain and Clavia help and comfort him again. Then there’s the one where he nearly dies and bleeds out and Diluc saves him. And the one where Dain and Kaeya both fall into severe depression and are not eating or leave the house and even start sh and Diluc breaks in and cooks breakfast.

Basically Diluc hates and won’t forgive himself for hurting Kaeya and not being able to save Crepus and he now feels bad for treating Kaeya that way.

But yeah not to spoil too too much of the upcoming sequel but basically there’s a TON of backstory about Crepus, his siblings and why he didn’t tell the boys about them, Elde who is his niece etc. Basically Diluc’s mom Emiline (not Emilie, name was picked out before Emilie) cursed herself and her sister sorta by accident and also her having kids kinda decreases her life expectancy but basically Crepus inherited the winery cuz his older brother Rafeus ran off to be a sorcerer and Rafeus doesn’t like Emiline because he’s afraid something bad will happen to Crepus cuz he foresees it and also prophesies about three kids two boys and a girl so Emiline thinks she’s gonna have two boys and a girl. Rafeus says the other boy doesn’t look like the kids but he doesn’t explain it. (He can tell kaeya is Khaenri’ahn and also scared of him and literally tells Crepus Kaeya will be his downfall or some shit and Crepus doesn’t tell kaeya this cuz wtf). But anyway so Emiline dies with only one kid the youngest boy is obvs Kaeya and Crepus realizes that the girl must be Kiana’s kid. Kiana his sister ran off with Leon Lawrence (eula’s uncle) who Crepus didn’t like and warned her about but she got mad and then Rafeus kinda threw her out and then Crepus and Rafeus fought. Also, Kiana and Emiline team up and that’s important later but yeah basically Crepus realizes Elde exists cuz of this. He knew Kiana died in szenhenaya of an illness (spoilers it was Dottore testing elezar) and left Elde in an orphanage there. She and Liesel Kratz are besties and maybe in love and she won’t go back with Crepus and instead signs up for working in the pentacle basically refusing the same life that the other kids have and they don’t know about each others existent for security reasons but Crepus does everything he can for Elde regardless. He can’t take in Liesel cuz he can’t take in another kid

But basically he kinda takes care of the kids who stay there who are Elzer and Ava basicallt both of their parents don’t care and they’re there on apprenticeships. So the 3 and later 4 with kaeya basically run amok and Ava gets a crush on Diluc at some point but Diluc is with Jean at the time. Random but Ava also loves horses. She can be kind of clumsy and forgetful but is nice. If you remember from the first story she was there when they got attacked and passed out and kaeya found her while he was observing the other stuff ueah it’s a mess. With a broken arm she makes it back to call for help and ummm transport because she is actually the bestest delivery girlie I want to remake her in the other style tho

So umm I had a thought.

Spoilers for Fontaine I guess if you’re late like me.

So the fact that the whole thing with Focalors taking over and Furina having her facade for 500 years is interesting to me. Does this imply Egeria died during the Catalclysm?

That in and of itself isn’t interesting as Makoto and Rukkadavata also died but I realized that Egeria and the Khaenri’ahns using Khemia both created life in a way against the will of the Heavenly Principals.

Egeria turned the Oceanids into humans (giving them humanlike life.) while Khaenri’ah used Khemia to create life (the monsters that attacked Teyvat). We don’t know how long ago Egeria MADE the Oceanids human and the time of her death, but it’s interesting regardless.

Especially considering the stuff with Rhinedottir, Surtalogi, Skirk, the Narwhal etc, it seems like Khaenri’ah has some connection to Fontaine.

So I had a thought…

Was Egeria on Khaenriah’s side? She seemed to go against the Heavenly Principals by making the Oceanids human. So maybe she would look for a place where the Celestia couldn’t affect or even scheme to defeat Celestia alongside Khaen.

Just a little thought I had with zero basis.

Also, I was replaying the Mondstandt archon quest due to doing into a challenge account. And Venti mentioned how after the Cataclysm, the Tsariti cut contact with him. It’s known the the Fatui hate Celestia, and are trying to create an artificial god by casually stealing all the gnoses (WHICH SIDE NOTE WAS REVEALED THAT IS PART OF THE DEAD THIRD DESCENDER WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK! [whenever I think the stuff in my fanfic is far fetched I have to remember how nuts canon is]). Okay, so I can imagine that Tsarita distanced herself since she disagreed with the other archons about Celestia. Which makes me wonder if there are/have been other archons against Celestia in the past. I hate the Fatui and their actions are so totally wrong IMO, however, Tsarita probably has a point and reason to dislike Celestia/the HP.

Anyway that’s all I had to say I was just thinking too much haha.

Albina is pronounced al-BEE-nuh ot al-BY-nuh

Alina is Al-EE-nuh line Albina without the B

Lena Kratz is LEH-nuh

And Xena is ZEE-nuh

Naya is NAI-uh not NAY-uh

Azer is Azer and not Azar the old sage guy

Crepus’ sister is KEE-ah-nuh. Like Kirara but ana instead

Emiline is like Emilie but with an n. She is not Emilie.

Annika is ANN-nee-kuh stress on the first syllable.

Elde is pronounced EL-deh

Clavia is pronounced CLAW-vee-uh with a long “a” not CLAH-vee-uh or CLAY-vee-uh

Rancourt is like prototype Rancour with a t

Aisha is EYE-shuh not Ay-YEE-shuh

And Egaria is pronounced with a hard G like ee-GAR-ee-uh. She is not the old hydro archon Egeria and not pronounced like that.

I think that’s the important ones but yeah. I know the names can be confusing but Genshin already has so many names lmao. There’s similar names in canon like Nahida and Navia or Diona Dori Dehya Diluc not even getting into NPC names

Can’t have a convoluted AU without pages of family trees

Spoilers I guess for the fic I already wrote and some stuff I’m going to write but idc I haven’t got off my butt yet.

This is literally a HEADCANON a sort of AU semi canon compliant but less and less so as it goes on it’s set in actual Teyvat just like alternate history I guess lol. More stuff the games haven’t explained but as it explains it it’ll be less and less accurate.

I’m on AO3 RiahWrites02. It’s broken pieces series and I’m planning a sequel to the one I wrote where all this info will be relavent certain parts of the first story are spoiled as well as stuff I’m planning this is more for me than anything

Xena’s is the least complex. She’s an OC who’s from Sumeru and an ermetie. Naya’s mom worked for the abyss order but then was a double agent. Her dad is a deadbeat so Xena’s family took her in. Adopted (?) is there because it ends up being weird plus they don’t really have words for that in her culture. Then xena’s family was killed by Fatui and she Naya and Azer her bf fights them. Then in the first fic her bf gets killed by a dellusion in mond (more details) but she ends up joining Diluc’s organization. Naya finds her mom on a mission to “Khaenri’ah” (basically underground abyss order fortress that Aether and Albina (I’ll get to her in a second) wanna convince people is still Khaenri’ah and lots of messed up stuff happens although the people are descended from old Khaenri’ah and most of the original generaton that was cursed would still be alive but is missing. Newer generations have a normal lifespan. Anyway Naya finds her mom and stays in Sumeru and Xena stays in mOnd

Lena’s is straightforward but more death so basically the Fatui killed Lena’s sister Lisel and her husband and kids and the brother Ernst is missing. Lena actually knows Elde who was besties friends with Liesel and worked with Crepus in some sort of underground anti Fatui thing. Basically liesel took the intellegence because it was going to someone but she didn’t think they’d come for her family. Lena sort of blames Crepus for some reason even tho Lisesel volunteered to keep the notes that Crepus wrote but Lena won’t accept that. She works with Diluc they have an org together but she slowly loses her mind and turns against everyone as you’ll see because the whole thing is a huge tragic mess. Their organization has its own code and she breaks it and goes on her own.

Diluc’a is fun because him and Eula are sorta cousins haha. I figured it would be like that. Basically Kiana married Leon but he was awful and left her and she was poisoned by the Fatui and knew she was gonna die so she gave up Elde to a Snezhenayan orphanage. Crepus knows about Elde but doesn’t tell Diluc and Kae (Elde is like 5 years older than Diluc, she’s Liesel’s age, who is older than Lena). Basically Kiana didn’t trust Emiline (Crepus wife, no she isn’t Emilie I made the name before Emilie was released. Also Lena is prounounced LEH-nuh not Lee-nuh because there’s another character named Alina later. So Emiline hated her mundane life in Fontaine and her sister Annika was kind of an ass but Emiline started playing around with witchcraft and Anikka didn’t like that and they basically disowned her but she accidentally cursed herself and Annika. She wanted 3 kids 2 boys and a girl but the more kids she had the more it would make her sick basically because of the curse so she died when diluc was around 4 and he didn’t know anything about her but actually she is trapped somewhere basically purgatory and Annika is alive but trapped in some sort of realm where she doesn’t know the passage of time. Only someone powerful like Kaeya can communicate with the half dead like that basically it’s a long story. Oh also Crepus went a little crazy trying to find a way to get to the purgatory where Emiline is and free hee but he never told the kids and he also realized Fatui devices wouldn’t help but he carried it anyway because he was afraid of something else happening to his kids and he didn’t have a vision which led to what happened with btw Columbina(!) she’s a real menace. Likes to throw in everyone face saying he was an idiot and got himself killed. Also Dottore wants to experiment on Kaeya’s kid half brother but eh. So Crepus Elde Liesel and two other people had this group to severely bring down the Fatui but Elde was like 12 when he came and he and Liesel were besties. Crepus offered her a place to stay but she refused because she said she wasn’t going anywhere without Liesel and the two ran away together then Elde built a house in the middle of the snow and just hid there for years after the others died or disappeared lmao she is a hardass. She can also nonchalantly wield delusions lol

Kaeya’s is a whole ass mess, it’s so bad lmao. So there’s these two very prestigious noble families the Ahlstrohms and Alberichs. Basically one of the Alhstrohm girls married Clothar’s father and they had kids together including Clothar and one of the boys married some other pureblood girl and they had Halfdan Verner and Egaria. Halfdan was presumed dead after the thing but showed up in the abyss thing only to die 2.6 spoilers lmao anyway verner was the one who kept the line alive and Egaria was still a kid but basically the Abyss Order used some technology/magic idk to age her up to an adult but it took like 400 years and she lost her memory. Now in the present she’s mad she lost her memory even tho it was traumatic and wants the abyss order to fix it. Also Halfdan and Dainsleif sort of date and Dain’s cousin Aisha is the attendant to the Ahlstrohms and is still serving them at present (stuff will happen in the fic) Dain is dating kaeya at present but he is also exes with Aether who is abyss twin in this fic. Meanwhile Clothar and his wife had some pureblood kids and carried the lineage. But he had Caribert with a Mondstandt lady and sacrificed the 8 year old for the loom of fate this is canon. So yeah basically both families are crazy about blood purity and it’s not cool. So they spread out for generations although there’s blood mixing all those people get thrown in prison. Basically then Rancourt Alberich (Kaeya’s dad in the fic) gets arranged married to Albina Alstrohm. They are very distant cousins because there’s not that many pureblood families left I used to read Harry Potter (f JKR). Okay point is, both of them are terrible people and Raincourt has Kaeya with a Sumerian mistress (more like a slave) but then goes back and forth since kaeya carries abyssal blood (dark energy basically. Dain and the others have light powers but some people have dark powers). There’s a whole lotta stuff I’m not gonna get into but Rancourt is incredibly unstable and goes back and forth with telling kaeya he’s the chosen one and degrading him for being half blood. Eventually sending him a way to be a spy and we know the rest. So he and Albina have 3 kids Clavia (who gets shafted for not having abyss blood and also is very quiet and isolates herself after Kaeya leaves) Alina and Reinhardt who are now 17 and 15, basically none of them have abyssal blood but Albina treats them better. (She also hated kaeya because of the “affair” (Usura, Kaeya’s mom, was captured and her lover was killed, it wasn’t consensual and she escaped eventually but couldn’t take Kaeya.) so Rancourt made one last attempt at an heir with Abyssal blood but wanted him to look pureblood so had an affair with a Snezhenayan treasure hoarder and it was determined Rohan didn’t have abyss blood. Albina was mad it happened and Rancourt started going crazy looking for solutions. So in the first fic kaeya shows up to confront him and he wants to use some potion to make kaeya look pureblood because he’s insane. He’s desperate for an heir. But the abyss order also has technology that’s more advanced than Fatui tech but similar. Basically Alina doesn’t need powers she uses tech. Albina and Rancourt have dark powers. So basically spoilers for first fic again Kaeya kills Rancourt but then Albina is basically acting as ruler of “Khaenri’ah” now. Aether is doing his own shit in the Abyss and also Albina wants to use Khemia for all sorts of weird shit like blood purification and other things. She’s insane and learns nothing. Aisha warns her but eh. But she wants to use dark energy to do it and Rohan (who was sent away with his mom who became a Fatuis and then basically abandoned him) actually DOES have abyss powers and Rancourt was wrong. So now both the Fatui (Dottore) and the abyss order want Rohan because at least he looks pureblood (except for eye color) and the Fatui want him cuz his mom is Fatui)

So that’s part of the second story all that stuff that happens. It’s a mess and sorry for spoiling. Not gonna put any tags cuz I’m rambling out my ass. This is more for me anyway lol.

Genshin Fontaine spoilers and like what???

Ok so the Skirk part confused me like she’s childe’s master and her master owns the narwhal? And is connected to Rhindottir?

So I looked it up and what??? Childe was in the abysss??

Also Surtalogi is one of the sinners of Khaenri’ah ok everything is connected to that like Nicole said something about how to look in places where the gods gaze doesn’t fall for like a solution to the problem with the Fontaine prophecy which is very similar to something Dain said about Khaenri’ah iirc??? And the fact that Skirk showed up when we fought the whale thingy which is apparently from space?? I feel like all Teyvat was created by the heavily principles and they want their bidding done and unknown god enforces it. Skirk and the whale fall outside of that as does the abyss and side note??? I want to know more about the abyss like you can just learn stuff there? It it like a physical place or??? Why is it bad exactly? I mean the order wants to kill Teyvat people for no reason. I get the impression it wasn’t the archons but heavenly principals who destoyed Khaenri’ah the archons were just defending their countries including Rex, anyway. So yeah Khaen probably effed up but the intentions may not have been bad. People who seriously take HP side after Fontaine…bruh. Yes playing God is usually bad but also no one should have absolute authority over people. The punishment does not fit the crime imo. Like surely there were innocent people who didn’t need to be cursed right? Also same w the Fontanian I digress. Why wouldn’t the principles punish Focalours and not all the people? It’s nuts.

So yeah. Khaen effed up but so did the principles and some archons aren’t great. Point is that all of this is connected and it’s crazy I’m super invested. The story of this game is freaking insane. Not to mention the Fatui casually obtaining the gnoses like shits gonna hit the fan when the Fatui makes a new fake God is it gonna fight against the loom of fate or something or would they team up to destoyed Celestia? Also I’m against celestial but also against abyss order and Fatui and just want everyone to be happy 😭. I’m scared cuz eirher the game will say HP is right because they can’t all be bad guys right? But they are they really are! The abyss order is wrong for wanting to kill people. Also I get the impression the abyss is just an empty place like nothing and will slowly drain you or make you go mad idk and maybe the order thinks they can make it a perfect world but it’s just not realistic and they probably think human emotion is stupid oe soemthing headcanon lol but it makes sense. Idk.

I know I took my sweet time getting there but damn it was worth it.

Probably the best single act in Genshin alongside Perilous Trail. Genuinely not sure which one is better.

And if you say “well Roe v Wade overturned and other conservative laws happened under Biden” Remember this was the CONSERVATIVE supreme court that did this. And another Trump term will make the court even worse for decades. The implications of this are huge.

People are on the fence, it’s simple. If you care about your queer, disabled, poc, poor, female loved ones VOTE HARRIS. If you’re centrist and won’t vote because you don’t care you’re a pushover and a coward. If you’re farther left and think she isn’t left enough, yes you have a point but this is all we have, PLEASE use your brain and stop being chronically online and self impressed.

I don’t care if I lose followers for this at this point, I’m just out here doing everything I can, not to panic and want to hide who I am. A lot of people don’t have the options to move to another state let alone country and we just want to live.

I’m lucky to live in a very safe state but I’m still terrified.

If you are mad at Harris for not stopping the genoc1de, remember that Trump will absolutely not stop it either and that he’s a moron who no one respects. I’d rather have a g3nocide overseas and have queer people (and poor people, women, poc) in the US protected than have a g3nocide overseas and not have them protected.

And if you say “well Roe v Wade overturned and other conservative laws happened under Biden” Remember this was the CONSERVATIVE supreme court that did this. And another Trump term will make the court even worse for decades. The implications of this are huge.

People are on the fence, it’s simple. If you care about your queer, disabled, poc, poor, female loved ones VOTE HARRIS. If you’re centrist and won’t vote because you don’t care you’re a pushover and a coward. If you’re farther left and think she isn’t left enough, yes you have a point but this is all we have, PLEASE use your brain and stop being chronically online and self impressed.

I don’t care if I lose followers for this at this point, I’m just out here doing everything I can, not to panic and want to hide who I am. A lot of people don’t have the options to move to another state let alone country and we just want to live.

I’m lucky to live in a very safe state but I’m still terrified.
