You might’ve gotten this question before, but I did want to ask something regarding the story structure.

ISAT spoilers for anyone who hasn’t played

So, through in stars and time we learn about the disappearance of the island, how it affects Siffrin and how it ties him to the King. If Isa is stuck in the loop would his goal be to try to find out what he can from Sif? Or would your story be more centered around him and Isa has a connection to the island and the king as a result?

Isa learns about the island by the means of learning about the King. Still trying to find out more- And again- when looking at the article about the King, Sif would comment how the patterns look like stars...

Which would again get Isa going through stuff normally- But it's basically experiencing the quest from outside Sif, through the side view! The slow realization that oh. He truly lost everything he ever called home. Asking what's the first thing Sif remembers would lead to a "been traveling for as long as I can remember."

And it's upsetting- Cause it feels violating for Isa to know this when Siffrin himself doesn't.

The Red Star event would technically be optional (as I mentioned in this ask here) but it is still possible to achieve..

Does Isa saw the red shade like how siffrin does or he saw a different shade?

It would still be red! Reading the Ka Buan book on colors it mentions that the shade is visceral, like destruction, something breaking. And I feel like that isn't something connected to Sif specifically. And what more visceral shade then red.

im so in love with 'in repetition and change'. genuinely such an interesting concept with INCREDIBLE art to boot !!!!!! so i just. have to say how much i adore it

but! i was going through the irac tag and noticed that. isa's wish isnt stated anywhere! you mentioned that you know his wish, but !!! i am going crazy thinking about what he couldve wished for !!!!!

so i must ask. what did he wish for, and what was his equivalent of the act 5 finale fight? how did he learn to let go of his wish ??? im losing it

I also didn't get to answer one of the questions- I am not fully sure if Isa told everyone about the timeloops. Tho the way I imagine it is that he told them the entirety of Act 2, and after reaching the end he stopped, but I'm just not sure how that would work with the timeloop mechanically.

Maybe in order to do the friend quests he has to pretend he doesn't know everything that's gonna happen, and during that loop the game asks you to go through without skipping- After that he probably just stopped telling them and just pretended everything was fine.

I can't tell if the Loop stabbing themselves is a part of this.... It must be right..... It must be related and if it is... God, the idea of Roboro finding them in just- a field with their own bloodied dagger-

I'm just thinking Loop started catastrophizing again AND I'M JUST- UGH.... MAYBE THE TWO HAD A REAL ROUGH INTERACTION AND IT LEAD HERE- MODEAU YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME---

Also... I see those Loops with their beautiful antenas... Finally, they found them... But also- Would Mira washing said hair with said antenas not be... overstimulating.......

Sigh, and Isabeau is smitten as always, what's new in the world (Is it truly any different for Roboro-)

SPOILERS: Two Hats / Act 6 Encounter | [MASTERPOST] ---------------------------------------

This is REALLY early in Roboro joining the family. Like- A few days type of early.

I think they did this because they hated the insinuation that they were being ingenuine. That they're somehow lying about who they are, what they've been through- That they're lying about who they've become and somehow presenting a fake version of themselves, when in reality, this is some of the most genuine they've ever been.

Roboro remembers how to play their part well. Being silly, loud, abrasive- They practiced being that person for years, decades even, looking at a mirror. Learned what parts to keep loose, relaxed, how to express without a hint of hesitation, how to instill confidence in others.

They remember how to do it, but it no longer reflects who they are.

In contrast- I do think it's still a part of Isabeau, the loud, the silly, the joyous, I still think he's capable of it and feels comfortable in it.

It's kind of what upsets him about Roboro's little performance here? Insinuating that his loud and positive demeanor is somehow fake- Sure, he had to build it up himself- But it was still him! Just because it took active effort to get there, doesn't make it more fake or anything!

So Roboro showing his family just how much active effort went into it is- embarrassing! Now his family is going to think that he's somehow faking everything, and sure, he needs to let loose with some stuff- but it's not all for show!

And so Roboro, in trying to show that they are genuine, ended up implying that Isabeau is not.

On a scale of 1-10, how upset would Roboro be to get itself out of the loops...and then, as an AU of an AU, ends up as Siffrins guide instead?

OUUGHHH.... INTERESTING QUESTION.....

If Roboro has already escape the loops via the help of Isa- Then I feel like it wouldn't really hit too badly? Depends on when it happens post loops- Like, if it was the day after? Terrible, you thought you were finally finally free- there's only so much fakeouts a guy can take you know?

But it also knows how to escape, it knows the key is Wish Craft. So knowing majority of the cause would really help solve the issue relatively fast. Give it a goal, a direction, a meaning.

If it was a WHILE post loops- then even better honestly, even tho it would be reminded of its old trauma which is never nice when you're trying to heal- But they have had time to heal, which is important.

So uh, I guess anywhere from 4.5-7.5?

The thing is- Roboro only knows the wish it and Isa made. He has no idea what Sif wished for, so he can only assume the two made the same wish. Regardless, they'd need to have a feelings talky-talky which will be unpleasant for both of them.

Regardless, I can't see the loops really going futher then defeating the King? I can't see them getting past ACT 3 since Roboro is there basically holding the solution.

...

However- If it's a Roboro that hasn't escaped the timeloops-

I'M GLAD!!! I really rushed it all last minute. Never experienced DR before this and I think this was the best playthrough to do it with IT WAS INSANE

I was genuinely surprised when I saw people regognize me in chat- I was beyond flattered-

Hey!!! I don’t know if anyone has already asked (and I am too dense to figure out,) but how did Isa get stuck in the time loop? What did he wish for?

(also, I REALLY want to know about the friend-quests!!! How does it change? Especially with Sif?)

I guess you're gonna have to wait and see together with everyone!

As for the hangouts- I'm still figuring out Mira, Odile and Bonbon (even if I have some vague directions)

But I do have something in mind for Sif. I want it to be touch related. Not inherently romantic, but more so- both of them talking about it and getting to clear up some stuff. (I also wanna explore Isa's own relationship with touch so bad BECAUSE I HAVE... THOUGHTS...)

I felt like the country might be a bit much, especially when Sif couldn't remember. For Sif to talk about things they can't recall is gonna be very tough (I have other plans for the country stuff anyway.)

And the og game proved they wouldn't actually express their want to stay with everyone until the bitter end.

So touch felt the most approachable topic that the two could bond over.
