caregiver!dusekkar + little!reader headcanons

i think he flipflops in perceiving himself as great with kids and awful with kids. i think he's naturally pretty patient and gentle by nature however he worries his very elaborate way of speaking can be off-putting or confusing. i think he's really happy to know that a little can like the way he presents himself and acts, not despite it

he loves reading you stories. he is a book reading fanatic. he's out here figuring out the best books to find and read to you. he's compiling lists and reading plenty of reviews. nothing but the best for his kid

loves not only reading to you, but with you. lay down on the floor with him and read a book to him while he gently helps you along. it will bring him joy to no end

furthermore i think he prides himself on his storytelling skills. having a hard time sleeping? he'll sit next to you in bed and start rambling on about some fairy tale he's making up on the spot until you fall asleep

afraid of the dark? no problem. built-in nightlight!

while playing pretend he Will do the most dramatic monologues ever and is pleased to see you giggle. big fan of encouraging your imagination and creative endeavors

i think he leans on the overprotective side. he's very doting and concerned. sometimes he can come off as a bit scolding but he always makes sure to reassure you he's not mad, he just cares a lot

gives you a fake wand for you to play with and "teach you spells" (he's wondering how long he can convince you that you really are conjuring light and that he's not just turning the light switch on while you're distracted)

overall i think he's a very loving and patient caregiver… he can come off a bit stilted at times because of the manner in which he speaks but he is Very fond of you. he's a little overprotective but he really does mean well! he expresses his fondness through being protective and doting because sometimes he worries it's hard to tell through his flowery language and occasionally verbose demeanor

Little two time (maybe petre) headcanons pls,,,?

Hi!! I am so so so sorry this is so late I got super duper busy with finals and AP tests, then I was just mentally exhausted due to school so I needed a break from basically everything!! So I’m back now!! But I loveeee Two Time, they’re so me!! (Minus the you know, bad stuff) I’m not too confident in my understanding of petre so unfortunately I probably won’t do any requests for it at all but I can definitely do agere!!

CW FOR CULTS AND VIOLENCE AND HINTS OF DEATH AND VERY SLIGHT SELF HARM MENTIONS (it’s just Two Time’s lore stuff)

🩵 Two Time first started regressing in the cult, they had absolutely no clue what it was, neither did Azure. But they both just went with it and Azure would act as their care giver when they regressed.

🤍 Their little age is usually pretty young, as young as a few months to only about 5 at the oldest. But when they are a bit older they’re super energetic and loves to run around and play, especially hide and seek!

🩵 The cult is kind of iffy when it comes to food, so Azure secretly grows a few berry bushes to feed to Two Time when little. Especially blueberries and raspberries, those are their favorite! And bonus points if Azure hand feeds them to them.

🤍 Two Time usually is pretty quiet when regressed, but they will make small sounds, yawns, hums, stuff like that. So the more context they are the quieter they are. When a bit older they do giggle a lot, especially when playing.

🩵 The first time Two Time regressed after the, ritual. They had a huge crying meltdown, no one to take care of them, their little brain couldn’t understand where bubba (what they called Azure) was.

🤍 When they got forsakened, at that point they were already more mentally unstable, and it affected their regression some. They started taking more of an interest in dangerous stuff while regressed, wanting to play with their dagger, or try and touch the fire.

🩵 They sometimes regress during rounds, but that’s rarer as their brain recognizes it’s not safe. But between rounds they can be seen regressing more.

🤍 Since they lost their caretaker they mostly keep to themself when regressed. They sit in a little fort they made and keep to themself. They aren’t interested in replacing Azure, and they don’t even know what they’re doing during those moments, so it’s not that easy to ask someone to take that role anyways.

🩵 The closest thing they have to a caregiver is Guest and n7’s parental instincts being activated by their behavior. But even then most people keep their distance away from Two Time usually due to how unstable they are. Guest will just try and ease the dagger out of their hand, brain recognizing Two Time shouldn’t have something sharp.

🤍 One of the few times they regressed in a round the round’s killer was Azure. And despite how both of their heads were messed up, due to what happened and the Spectre, Azure’s instincts kicked in. And for one round it was peaceful, just Azure taking care of Two Time till the round ended. Unfortunately the Spectre never let that happen again.

Sorry if it’s a little sad!! I tried to make it ‘realistic’ but realistic in this case is sad. I’m really close friends with a DID system who has an Azure and Two Time and I had to remind myself that they act differently then in canon, as I was tempted to write stuff that had to do with their alters not the canon characters!! Including forgetting that Two Time is not canonically kitty Two Time. But hope these were alright!! It’s pretty late and I’m mostly little so they might not be amazing!!

agere hermit!tommy (+ some reg hermit!tommy) headcanons!

I wanted to do just agere but I couldn’t help but set up Tommy’s character a little more…oops! headcanons under the cut

Season: 10 (timelines? I’ve never heard of her) When did Tommy leave dsmp?: After his revival Is Tommy a hybrid?: yes, moth :] Who’s a little & who’s a CG?: little!tommy, cg!hermits

like most h!tommy fics, tommy ended up in hc by accident. the hermits themselves weren’t really worried - it’s 27 to one, after all. but tommy was. He put up an impeccable fight despite having no gear + numbers disadvantage anyways.

eventually it smoothens out and he becomes a “temporary guest” on the server “until they can figure out what to do with him” (sure. sure)

he builds his base out of cobblestone right on the world border. it’s a castle. cobble, because it’s his favorite block, and on the world border for two reasons - he’s a little insecure, on this server of grand building feats - and to stay hidden. he’s still wary. it’s instinctive.

the builders LOVE his base!! btw!! sure it’s crude and not that refined but no matter how hard tommy tries to conceal his pride/passion, they can tell. they try to subtly come over, give him resources/pointers/encouragement, etc etc. tommy doesn’t trust it (he does appreciate it, secretly. he won’t admit that to anyone [let alone himself] however)

Henry and Shroud have revived themselves. They have the same thing as Jellie goin’ on. They’re Tommy’s support animals <3 he doesn’t know know that it’s them, at least not consciously, but he named them after the old buddies.

now for agere time! mwehehe

Tommy’s been going “small” for a while now. Probably since pogtopia? he doesn’t have the words for it, never really did, but it’s been happening. he knows he’s not supposed to, but he can’t stop himself. (involuntary agere baybe!!!) He has a lot of unhealthy ideas around it - thinking it’s bad, mainly. a weakness.

he tries to hide it from the hermits. only doing it in the privacy of his own base, clutching a worn blanket in stubby and calloused fingers. he wanders aimlessly, babbling nonsense to himself. he hides whenever people find him during these moments. (Henry & Shroud try and protect him during these times.)

the first to find him is Bdubs. He came over to give some materials, and found a Tommy that is remarkably not-Tommy-ish. He catches on quickly.

Do the hermits have the words for it, either? Probably not, no. But that doesn’t matter. They’ve been across many servers, thousands of worlds, seen all the whims of the universe. They’re no stranger to this, even if they don’t know the terminology.

Tommy is mistrustful about this. He’s hesitant about showing this side of himself. He’s weak in this state - easy to take advantage of.

But this is Hermitcraft. They wouldn’t do that! Even if Tommy hasn’t internalized that, it’s true.

Tommy’s little self kind of has the inverse character development that his big one does. When he first finds himself in HC, he’s loud and reckless as a coping mechanism. Does he ever entirely mellow out? Not really. But the calmness does whisper in the waves around him. On the other hand - when he’s little, at first, he’s shy and quiet. Downcast. But as he gets more comfortable around the hermits he gets louder, braver, outgoing, and very silly.

Some of his favorite activities with the hermits: hiking (he gets to go in the MUD!! and play with BUGS!! and WORMS!!), building, making food, putting on puppet shows/plays, and in general just having fun! (most of these he’s just watching them do stuff. but, like, you get it.)

Stuffed Animal OBSESSION. he didn’t really have any in dsmp, but now that he has the space to express himself, he’s having SO MUCH FUN. multiple rooms in his castle are dedicated to his collection. The hermits love indulging him.

thinks redstone looks so so cool, REFUSES to learn how it works. like woaw prebby. you’re explaining 2 me what it does? hell to you! hell for one thousand years!!

has a pallet for warm foods, especially when small. angel milk, oatmeal, baked goods, you know. the one exception is ice cream (yummy!) and maybe candy

wasn’t very touchy at first, but now that he’s more comfortable, EVERY TIME he’s around a hermit he’s glommed onto them. It can be subtle, like hand holding, but more than not he’s koala-ed onto them. He’s defined them as “safe” in his head, so now that he’s around them more, the closer he is to them the safer he is.

very talkative. not usually words? Just random babbling. It’s how the hermits find him small most of the time - he’ll send random sounds into the server chat. Like “bla ba ba?” or “meep mrrp. grgrbr. pffff bla bla!!! keee!!!” and people are like. oh he’s baby let me fawn over him. he’s constantly blabbering. and like yeah the chat is just text but you can babble over text.

bedtime is HARD. he HATES IT and gets VERY FUSSY. it has to be SPECIFIC and WARM and NICE and PRETTY or he will NOT close his eyes!!! every hermit has a different way of handling this. and if the specific hermit does it different than the normal way they specifically do it it’s an AFFRONT TO GOD!!!

love love LOVES soft things. stuffed animals? yes. but also blankets, pillows, clothing, and secretly… fur. any hybrid hermits who have some are amazing because of this. He’ll fawn over them for hours, just petting them over & over.

loves the stars/nighttime. will stargaze for hours. it puts him into a trance, basically. probably because of the moth thing but like you know the stars are pretty !!!

Letter 25 : Anon says... Mama mach Perhaps?

— ☕; Mach is a mama caregiver! She has no experience dealing with lil ones, sometimes this task can be a challenge.

— 🧸; When she's busy/needs to be away for a while, Pilby is the little one's babysitter.

— ☕; Sometimes Mach turns to Pilby for advice and guidance on how to be a good caregiver.

— 🧸; She's not a person of words, but expresses her affection with actions, usually giving hugs or pats on the head.

— ☕; If the little one wants to carry the banhammer, she won't stop them (she'll even help them carry it) "Oh look, you did it."

— 🧸; After a lot of work, she will take a break to enjoy afternoon tea with her little star. She will ask for an extra cup, and a small dessert for them.

— ☕; Other times they paint together, she even puts down her brush to paint with her fingers like the regressor does.

— 🧸; Try playing chess or UNO against her if it's a tough challenge.

— ☕; She could even explain the workings of the machines used against the players.

— 🧸; "Shh, come here" If the regressor is crying and turns to their cg, she take them in her arms and comfort them.

— ☕; Even if they seeks her out when she's hibernating, Mach open her capsule, so she can take them in her arms.

— 🧸; Some nights she and the regressor will be watching the night sky. She explains every constellation, every wonder that lies beyond what they can see. "Do you want to name a star?"

Good news, bad news, and great news!!

So good news, finished my AP tests!! Think I did alright, 3, maybe 4 on one of them. The other I totally flunked though :(

Bad news, now I’ve got my actual normal finals so still will be sorta busy!!

Great news, due to personal reasons I’ve never been able to actually get a paci, but I’ve wanted one for a whileeee. And so my really close online friend who knows I regress, and has a few alters who also regress, and thus has a paci, brought up that they found it after miss placing it a few days ago. So I mentioned ‘aw I want a binky (I call them binkies normally) so bad but I can’t get one :(‘ and explained why when they asked. So they then said to find one on Etsy I like, send it to them, and they’ll get it for me!! I’m so excited!! I get a paci!! I sent them the link and my address (I trust them!!) as well as the two things I needed to specify and thanked them profusely!! I’m just so grateful and excited!! Had to make sure it was one with discrete shipping because main reason I haven’t been able to get one is my home environment :(so very hopefully when it arrives no one opens it.

Anyways I’ll hopefully get back to posting soon sorry for the hiatus, schools got me so busy right now!!

🤍 Medkit first began age regressing in Blackrock, it was very uncommon and only when he felt safe. Afterwards, since he didn’t know what it was, he’d just assume he’d been really tired or something.

🩵 After leaving Blackrock and getting his own apartment he began to do it more. It’s not that he felt completely safe more often just safe enough to do it.

🤍 Since he began to do it more he researched it and discovered age regression! He was intrigued by it, it was a really interesting idea to him. But it did feel nice to finally know what was going on.

🩵 He’s pretty quiet about his regression, not just to people but in the way he regresses; he doesn’t actively play with toys, draw, use sippys or anything, he just quietly slips into little space.

🤍 What he does do while regressed is read! He loves to read about topics that interest him, and while he can use normal books when regressed he really likes picture books. Give him a picture book on different animal species anthropology (would probably be called something else in the Inpherno) and he’s very happy!

🩵 He usually experiences a verbal shutdown when regressed, so if someone somehow tries to talk to him, he only regresses at home with the door locked, they just get a bug eyed stare in return.

🤍 He’s also rather sleepy of a regressor, it’s just about the only time he actually naps. On top of that he’s usually a pretty sad regressor, not actively crying but even when happy he usually doesn’t smile. Regressing gives him an outlet to actually cry and let it all out but he doesn’t take it most of the time, body just not used to crying.

Wanted to add more but I’ve got school soon!! Hope these were good since it was my first time writing HCs for a little character!! Before this blog in my own notes app I had written caregiver head canons for my main fictional caregiver haha!!

🩵 Medkit hasn’t actually had much interaction with kids in his life, but he’s really good with them, after all it is his dream to be a teacher. He’s also got some automatic fraternal instincts.

🤍 Once he learns what age regression is he does a lot of research to make sure he fully understands it and can be the best caregiver possible for you. He tries his absolute best.

🩵 He’s a bit on the stricter side, you have a bed time and you have to eat your veggies. He may be able to be persuaded for a little less veggies or five more minutes of playtime but it requires a lot of puppy dog eyes and pleas.

🤍 He’s not the biggest or strongest guy so he can’t really hold you all that well but he does allow for snuggles. He usually doesn’t initiate them but he allows you to cuddle up to him.

🩵 Due to the church he’s usually pretty busy unfortunately, he’ll let you play near him while he works on paperwork or gear modifications but he has you remind you to be quiet cause he unfortunately needs to work. If you’re feeling clingy he will allow you to sit on his lap as he works but still goes that you have to be quiet.

🤍 He normally skips a lot of meals, mostly running on coffee but he tries to be better for you, you need food to grow big and strong he says. He’s not a good cook by any means but he looks up simple recipes that you’ll like but are still healthy enough.

🩵 He has a bedroom but he sleeps on the couch, the room is pretty bare, he says you can use it, he’s not using it after all. But it’s lonely and you wanna be with him so you end up with him on the couch anyways.

🤍 Being from Blackrock his body naturally runs warmer and he’s rather fluffy (HCs for him being a white tailed deer) so he’s actually rather enjoyable to cuddle with. He’s a bit embarrassed about his tail but he lets you play with it.

🩵 If he has to leave you for a while he’ll take his horn ring off and put it on a necklace for you, it’s safe to put in your mouth even if he doesn’t enjoy you doing so.

🤍 Doesn’t own much in ways of age regression gear, if you ask he could buy some stuff but he’s already on a bit of a budget, you only have one or two sippys/bottles and maybe one pacifier. He wants to give you more but he just cant unfortunately.

🩵 If you’re an ‘impure’ regressor in being more angry or defiant he’ll calmly, but sternly, talk to you and enforce any rules he needs to. He understands it but he doesn’t let you just let your anger out in bad ways, he wants you to be safe.

🤍 And if you’re ‘impure’ in the way of being sad or upset he doesn’t say much, he just pets your head and lets his hand linger on yours to let you know he’s there. Don’t tell anyone but he keeps a small candy in his pocket at all time for you if you really need it.

These are fun to write!! A lot easier than my other writing request account!! (No not sharing unless I trust you sorry :( ) Next I’ve got Medkit regressor HCs!! Should be fun too!!

— 🧸; The little girl's bedroom door has a bell, which will announce to Eunoia that she is having another sleepwalking episode.

— ☕; When that happens, she directs her back to the bed while speaking sweetly. "Come on, sweetpie, let's go back to your bed."

— 🧸; Likewise, she has established a night routine that Nash can do with or without her presence.

— ☕; Although Nash is careless with her own well-being, Eunoia notices those small details that let her know that the little girl needs to rest.

— 🧸; Little Val is semi-nonverbal! She communicates through little sounds and babbling. It's endearing to see her make little "yum yum" when she eats.

— ☕; She only pronounces short words only in the presence of her caregiver, sometimes the android likes to say words to her caregiver to expand her vocabulary. "Can you say 'Bunny', sweetheart?"

— 🧸; The little girl can rarely be found talking to herself or to her plush bunny, Mr. Pumpkin Pie.

— ☕; She likes to write, she transmits her thoughts through letters, you could say it is a personal diary, she keeps it hidden

— 🧸; Nash has a diary, in this she writes all her thoughts, she keeps it hidden from everyone.

— ☕; Sometimes the android takes her little girl with her to her jobs, gives her homework to help.

— 🧸; Eunoia likes to brush Nash's hair, she usually braids it, takes care of it and puts accessories on it.

Caregiver Coil,,,,any headcanons

Ooo Coil huh? I’ll try my best!!

🩵 Coil largely doesn’t consider himself good with kids, but he tries his best for you!

🤍 Being a pretty strong dude he can pick you up rather easily! Even if he’s not super tall it’s still good!

🩵 While not awful his apartment is largely not super kid safe, a few dangerous things, so he takes a room he wasn’t using for much and transforms it into a completely safe play room! Maybe you even have a bed in it. It’s not super decorated or crazy fancy but it’s a really sweet gesture!

🤍 He is a surprisingly good cook so he’ll make you nice meals! Even if sometimes you just want like, cheese and crackers or apple slices he enjoys making you nice meals or snacks.

🩵 Since he’s really athletic if you’re an energetic regressor he can keep up with you! He loves playing more active games with you, he wants to rough house too but knows you probably shouldn’t while regressed.

🤍 He’s not the strictest of care givers but he does have some rules. A bed time, don’t hurt others (without his permission), don’t steal sugary things, etc, normal stuff. If he has to do something it’s usually sitting in the corner, or going to bed earlier, or maybe no dessert.

🩵 If you’re an ‘impure’ regressor in terms of being angry or defiant, he does his best to level with you, make compromises, give you outlets for anything you need. He understands it to some extent.

🤍 And if you’re an ‘impure’ regressor in being sad or upset he’ll wrap you up in a blanket and put you next to him on the couch while rubbing your head. Either he’ll just put on a cartoon or if you want to talk he’ll listen and give advice and comforting words.

I think I’ll make it something I do where the last two head canons for care giver characters is for ‘impure’ regression since I can relate and I want everyone to feel included!! Hope these were good anon!! ^^
