san sebastiano by @notforpenance: this is one chapter away from not being a wip. it's so fucked up and perfect and corrupt and violent. the art. the horror. the dead dove of it all. if you're looking for anything but fluff -- mafia!max and art student!(/naive lamb/innocent victim/major sufferer) charles this has it ALL.

burnout by @laura1633: boxer max and model charles... a classic laura work and it's so fun and angsty and i cannot help but drool over the thought of boxer max. one side of daddy issues to complete it all.

one life for the hunter by @le-stappen: i have not been into too many omegaverse works lately but THIS ONE. it's so interesting watching max be a) catastrophically down bad for charles and b) not understand the way the world works. also they fuck sloppy. so good.

vena cava by @chubbydino: ever willingly put yourself through hell and suffering and pain and agony and torment without the promise of anything happy ever? well do i have a fic for you. in classic cazio fashion, this is full of angst and hurt and beautiful devastation.

the suspension of disbelief by @drivingstuff: SUCH a good take on the classic "charles discovers ao3" trope. slow burn they're hooking up charles is confused what could it all possibly mean. its HOT.

eyes on me (just keep watching) by @sharlcookie: f1 driver alpha max and camboy omega charles. they couldnt possibly be bonded, right? what could go wrong. also arthur catches strays like nobody's business.

still your boy by @cosmicscuderia: i have been privy to some of the behind the scenes for this but. charlos x carlando messy love triangle that follows the 2024 season. you cant make some of this stuff up its not even fiction its FACT. the chief angst author amy has cooked up the most incredible unreliable narrator lando. i am not a lando fan and yet this fic is DELICIOUS.

blue echoes by redhelmets: i am not one for social media fics but my GOD has this captivated me. i am so invested in an album that doesnt exist and the author has managed to capture SO many emotions for songs that arent even real. exes lestappen (my beloved) and its just CHEFS KISS. got me in a chokehold.

Hi! I have this scene idea for the next chapter of eyes on me, and just wanted to share it for inspiration or something.

Charles doesnt want anyting to do with Max. Yet theres a big chance that he will help him through his rut. He doesnt want anything to do with him, because he still believes that Max has the same options as he had when he was a kid. What could maybe happen to change his mind would be a scenario like:

Charles being in the paddock for the next race after Max’s rut (Being there to support Arthur and Pierre). He was walking past the redbull hospitality and overhearing Max and Jos have an argument, disagreeing about omegas. Max arguing that an omega can do anything an alpha can, and that youre suppose to love and care for yours, not use them for pleasure. Jos arguing back with a similar BS as Christian said last chapter. About ‘loving’ them, mating them but still going to whoever he wants later.

After heavily disagreeing on the topic, maybe Max storming off from the hospitality, further into the paddock (?) not noticing who was standing there dead in his tracks.

I feel like that could really make Charles understand that mayybe Max did infact change over the years, that he was not mistaken, and he doesnt have the same opinions as he did when he was a kid. Which would heavily support the thought, when he said it to his father.

(Also not believing what Lando said when he was almost black-out drunk on a yacht, celebrating his win xd)

you can use this idea or you absolutely dont have to! This just popped into my head and I thought that it would suit the story. Also you dont have to reply to this, keep it in the inbox so if you thought that smth like this would suit the story, and you wanted to use it, people can still be suprised next chapter! Have a good rest of your day or night

i will say that in chp 3 at the very end, we become aware of the fact that max is actually in pseudo-rut. now will he actually stop taking rut suppressants because of that and end up going into rut? will his rut-like/pre-rut symptoms go away once he's in monaco/close to charles? ahem, stay tuned to find out...

when jos will appear in the fic -- i hinted at it in chp 2 with the messages between max and sophie/his mum, so you can eagerly await the moment max and jos meet (and charles? maybe, hehe) :3

a bit of a teaser for the next chapter: it's not a race week... perhaps it's time to see things in a new perspective? 👁️👁️

unfortunately, i have been hit by the ao3 curse -- a few days ago, my brother was hospitalised with a severe injury (and i can't talk about it further due to multiple reasons)... so writing has not been at the forefront of my mind these days, and the time i normally have for writing has been spent by his bedside (i hate writing on my phone, so the most i do is fic planning).

rest assured though, the chapter has already been planned. i just have to find time (and headspace -- i'm doing better now, dw) to write it. maybe a few weeks to a month? i'll try my best 🫡

SHARL DONT WORRY I LOVE CHUSSY and the omegaverse boy with vagina didn't make omegaverse any less different, if they think so then they're just transphobic 🤷🏻 i have a friend who is trans, but he's also willing to give birth for his partner at least one children. And that NEVER makes me want to call him STRAIGHT or GIRL. Just keep writing whatever you like. The point of fanfiction is a fiction made by a FAN. If they don't like it then just don't read it. As simple as that. Stop complaining about other people writing, like they're not even give you kudos tho. Keep it going girl!!

I think you misunderstood me. There's nothing wrong with guys with vaginas, i just believe that it defeats the purpose of the Omegaverse. The whole appeal of it was the fact that a cis man could somehow get pregnant.

By adding a vagina, it's just straight sex with extra steps ☹️ it kinda takes away from the niche-ness of it imo 🤷‍♀️ you do you tho, of course, any contribution to the fic community is good, people writing is good 😊

i enjoy mpreg too but i don't think writing about guys with vaginas defeats the purpose of omegaverse. back in my days before the omegaverse was a thing, i wrote mpreg without omegaverse just for the love of mpreg lmao. i've written omegaverse with cis men before; i've written mpreg with cis men without omegaverse (ass babies, anyone?); and for this fic, i want to write about the chussy.

there are so many variations with omegaverse, which is for me, where the appeal lies. there is no framework indicating that omegaverse needs to be what you are suggesting. there's plenty of omegaverse fics out there that have what you're looking for. i'm fine with my fic having what i want to read and write.

i don't see chussy fics as 'straight sex with extra steps' just because there is a vagina. i think it's reductive to assume that.

I absolutely loved chapter 3. It was so well-written, and I loved the bits of drama (come on, Charles, you know who you sent the pictures to) and the moments with the press. You should be so proud of this work.
