20240628 - Forget Me Not Pond - Kananaskis, AB

It's been a while, I wish I could go and see nature more often. I want to go on hikes and camping. It would be nice if I can start learning rock climbing as well. Been postponing to learn it due to maaaany reasons. Hopefully this year I can at least start learning it. And by the time I get my car, I would be confident and prepared on doing it.

I went with my younger brother and my co-worker. It was a quick trip after work. At first we thought it's just us because we haven't seen them. The weather's not so good either so we were thinking no one will come. Until we saw Sydney and her Vietnamese friend. It's so cool that Sydney still goes to these meetups even though she's preggy. We walked around and look for oht spot. When we found one, me and Josh went to roam around.

We crossed the waters to get in this spot. I took off my shoes and socks, Josh did as well. It is so freaking cold!! Walking on the rocks was painful as well but my feet dried so fast. We piled up some stones, it was hard because it keeps falling. I guess my balance is bad. When I saw Josh's it looks good but mine looks so bad hahaha

When we went back, others have arrived and setup the table. Each of us bought food to share. I have met new people but I barely talked to them. I don't remember their names aside from the Filos. Rose was the organizer and she came with her boyfriend, Kevin. Rose bought her paddleboard too! Joana and Lola her cute puppy. Then, 2 white girls.

Ohh, and I saw a deer!! Also, there's a lot of birds! Josh have enjoyed feeding them with bits of tacos. We were accompanied by a sneaky squirrel who's so comfy and joined us eating! Hahaha.

Me, Josh and 1 white girl were busy learning how to paddle. It should be easier for me because I skate but it was so scary! When it was my turn, I tried to stand and circled around the pond. I just looked down and clenched my feet in the paddleboard. I'm so worried that I might fall and I got dizzy when I lifted my head. The pond is so deep and I haven't put on the lifejacket! Crazy!!! The white girl asked me how did I do. I told her to just sit down hahaha cos it's less scary. We took turns and when I went back I just sit down and enjoyed paddling and the scenery.

It was fun and relaxing, but I wished I spent it with my family, friends and with Dylan.

Filing for Boards

I decided to file my application for Board exams today as it is my birthday today! It wasn’t a good day at all! What’s wrong with you January 2020!? I was running late for my appointment, and I left the documents at home. I already booked Angkas, but I have to go back home. Fortunately, the driver understood.

I was wondering why we went too far to my actual destination. Dang! He told me that I pinned the location wrong. It’s almost 10 already and my appointment is at 10! Fingers crossed, I hope it doesn’t matter as I have two appointments (10am and 11am). The driver offered to just drop me off to my actual destination and I just have to pay him more and I agreed!

When I went up, I immediately asked someone if I can still make it to my appointment. Thank God, I can! But then, I forgot my documentary stamp! It’s worth Php 50 for 2, but I bought those outside for only Php 15 each. I don’t have a change and so does she, so I went around buying essentials. Wow! Didn’t realize the mall was too big. Also, I have to buy pen.

My mom called! I thought she was calling because I texted her that I might not be able to take the Preboards since I’m still applying and it wasn’t done yet. But then, she texted me… Such a really really bad day! My cousin was admitted to the emergency room; she slipped and hit her head. I panicked a lot, tears started to well up. Why is all of this happening on my birthday? Yesterday, we just have fun and now this?

I hurriedly went home, but my mom and Ate went to the hospital already. After changing, I went there as well. Really thank God! She’s fine, just a back pain.

At the end of the day, I’m more than grateful for God has listened to my topmost prayer! And that is to keep everyone I love safe. Thank you that I was able to celebrate this day with my family!

For my birthday celebration, my parents decided to have a day tour! We were worried about continuing the tour. These past few days have been devastating, from the eruption of Taal then now the virus that spreading.

It was such a great day, but super tiring. Just gonna put the photos.

Welcome home Papa!

After a year from abroad, my father finally came back home. I’m happy that he’s here (tho it’s only for a month) ‘cos he will be here for my birthday! Happy kiddooo :D

We’ve been planning to go home for Ati Atihan festival in Kalibo. We’ve book roundtrip tickets already and yet I wasn’t able to go. Unfortunately, I have some “trivias” to take in my review classes. It’s actually a good thing ‘cos I plan to queue for ticket selling of Running Man fanmeet here in Manila! Oh yes, finally it’s happening! But kinda hesistant to go, actually… we’ll let’s just see what happens.

OdeToYouinMNL Ticket Selling

I was asked to buy tickets for Seventeen’s concert. I wanted to help as much as I can, ‘cos I know what it feels like to be a fangirl. I tried queuing for them but I can’t spend lots of time outside. So I decided to just buy it online. I’m sorry I had to lie about the reasons I told you. Somehow, I felt guilty about it. Then, I tried to buy online and I was able to! I secured their desired seats! Good thing is that I bought 2 tickets instead of 1, Pau’s friend wasn’t able to buy while queuing in the mall.

I honestly told my mom about everything, including the fact that I used her credit card again. After the mass, we went to the mall to claim the tickets and also to bond.

Running Man Ticket Selling

Today is Fridaaaaay! Two more days before the ticket selling and guess what? At 7AM, someone’s already at the Mall of Asia to queue! I’ve been thinking whether to camp or not, but then it’s a waste spending almost 3 days there. I can’t afford to lose 3 days now, I’m studying for boards! Ces have been updating me about the queue. Oh! I joined a group chat, which I normally don’t do, to look for friends who I can be with during the fanmeet. I’m going alone again! So yeah, I think I should try to make friends. I instantly connect with her, she’s also reviewing for her boards but different degree. I tried to talk to her with that topic first, hahaha. Then everything went well.

D-DAY Ticket Selling

How am I supposed to study if I’m bothered with this ticket selling? Dang! I came to a decision that I will just buy online. I bought a prepaid credit card and now I’m planning to go to Coreon for better net speed. Hopefully I can buy as soon as possible, well for better queuing number. I wasn’t lucky this time, it’s almost an hour before I was able to secure a ticket. I was so demotivated, but then I was hoping for that chance to have a photo opportunity with them.

A Blessing

Welcome to the world, baby Raiko!

My mom’s friend, Ate Lyn, have given birth to baby Raiko. Yay! Such a great news!!! Mom was so emotional that she wanted to visit them immediately. I’m very thankful to God for the safe delivery. After everything that has happened to their family, finally... someone who’ll make them happy has come!

Thank for being born baby Raiko! We’ve been waiting and asking for you to come. I know Kuya Raken in heaven have been protecting you.

Happy New Year!

Welcoming 2020 with a blaaaaaast!

I decided to create a blog-diary starting this year. I have actually thought about it long before but some of it was lost and I’m not as consistent in writing. I’d probably write past memories that I can remember or maybe when Facebook reminds me of something. Hahaha.

Anyways, it’s New Year! Gonna list down all my goals for this year, just hope I can do better at fulfilling it. I’m turning 24, a year left before adulting starts.

2020 BUCKET LISTS

1.       Complete Sunday mass - Make a wish on the last Sunday of the year.

2.       Pass the REE and RME licensure exams. - Registered Electrical Engineering - Registered Master Electrician

3.       Enroll practical classes at MFI - Industrial Electrician - Building and Wiring Installation and Maintenance - Electrical Control Wiring Installation - Advanced Industrial Motor - Refrigerator and Air-conditioning Mechanic

4.       Learn a language - German - Mandarin

5.       Engage in physical activities - Surfing - Shooting - Rock Climbing

6.       Travel to South Korea

7.       Attend Running Man 10th Anniversary in Korea

Alright! There you have it. It seems that I’ll be able to do it. I’m capable of doing all of it as long as I put my mind into it. Hahah. Hopefully, I avoid being too laaaaazy and spending my precious time with only Anime, Dramas or KPOP. Also, I sleep a lot….
