It's not about the music. It's about the child.
Physical exercise = physical health Mental exercise = mental health But, how do you exercise a child's mind for their mental health? Music.   Music is unique. Music does not equal "music health." Music equals mental gymnastics that unlock the full potential of a child. Music exercises every part of the brain - creativity, problem-solving, motor skills, speech and language development, spatial reasoning, collaboration, critical thinking, communication, adaptability and flexibility, productivity and accountability. On top of that, being part of music groups at every age fosters a community of like-minded peers who tend to be at the top of their class. Why now? Simply put, there came a time when we as a society discovered the need for intentional physical exercise for the physical health of children. With the prominent use of digital devices to entertain and pacify wiggly children everywhere, music making and play are being lost without parents realizing the detriment to developing their children's full potential. I believe there is a way to restore music making and play in our digital age. A multi-media world of music making through interactive entertainment that combines interaction with the show, the world, and the character.  The popularity will bring awareness to the parent and the birthright of music will be restored. It's not about the music. It's about the child. It's time.
