8th anniversary (Ieyasu)

It was so lovely…

I mean, this is the third story from this event that I've read. And I knew what to expect… But Ieyasu, as always way too cute.

Once again, I asked a completely pointless question, why they don't let them get married. And Cybird somehow heard my question and answered… there are really a lot of reasons for my paranoia… only in the new app they will get married. Okay… I guess.

Ieyasu has changed a lot from how he was at the beginning. Even Mai noticed it. He expresses his worries and shows his weaknesses. It's cute, and it really feels like they're a couple who face problems and solve them together. I love it.

And his confessions are very sweet.

And that three-day joke will probably haunt me for the rest of my life…

It was a cute story, but not to the point I wanted to make a summary.

I DID read his route, but that was a long time ago, at least a year ago… maybe more. And since Mitsuhide is a love rival, I can't bring myself to re-read it again.

To be honest, I don't remember much.

I think he was either nobody or from a very poor warrior family (I don't remember which one), but Nobu gave him a chance to prove himself and at one point even made him his right-hand. So he is very devoted to Nobunaga and is ready to protect him at the cost of his life. Like a human shield. That's why Nobu calls him a monkey. (smile)

He's never had a long-term relationship because no one wants to date a guy who could literally die at any moment. And he always spoke honestly about his intention to die to protect Nobu.

However, he has many ex-girlfriends with whom he has maintained good relations, and they even exchange letters.

He treats Mai like a younger sister. And when she got mad at him for that, he was completely confused. I love his surprised expression.

There were scenes...

with Nobu… He took Mai with him on the horse and leaned closer to her to make Hideyoshi jealous. It was so funny. Hideyoshi didn't know what to do… and Nobu loved it.

Another scene with Mitsuhide in the dungeon. They forced him to speak without torture. I think Mai cried… And when they left, Mitsu said that he needed to reconsider the methods of torture… (laugh)

And at the very end… which ending did I read?.. I think it was romantic… So… At the end, there was a scene at a banquet. Mitsu and Masa are sitting next to each other. And Masa notices that Mitsu looked at Mai and smiled. Masa told him something like, "If you don't believe you deserve to be happy, you'll never be happy." And Mitsu replied that he was already happy because she was happy. It's so sad… And because of that, I will never read Hideyoshi's route.

That's it. I don't think I remember anything else.

5th anniversary (Luke)

This story is a collection of very cute and especially noteworthy situations that happened during the year. Starting in summer and ending in spring. It seems that Luke and Belle have nothing to do with the royal family, they really look like an ordinary couple, and this gives the story a special charm. It seems that nothing unites these scenes at all. Only at the very end is the meaning of the story explained.

Clavis' route (really?)

You know… I'm so disappointed. This is the second time this month.

When I was a kid, I loved ALF… the show "ALF". I doubt many people remember it, it's really old. So… it was my favorite show, and I have a lot of good memories (in my case, only emotions, because I have a really… bad memory… no kidding). And for some idiotic reason, I decided to watch it now…

...

One episode. I could barely finish one episode.

He's terrible. This damn alien is terrible. Rude and insensitive. He doesn't give a shit that people can throw him out on the street, and they'll be absolutely right. He doesn't show any signs of gratitude at all. How could I grow up to be a normal person after that? How could I find it funny back then? Another childhood memory was ruined forever (at least for a while, as long as I remember it).

It's the same with Clavis' route. It hasn't been that long since I last read it. But now I know the princes better and I see so much nonsense in this route that I wanna cry.

hello irina! so the news about new suitors on ikesen makes me... kinda tempted to start play it... (and does it make ikesen have the most suitors on ikeseries now?)

actually I've been having an interest with ieyasu (because someone on twitter said that he's a bit similiar with licht😭) but I'm trying to hold up because ikepri & ikevil already took my time and mind (and money....), but now I'm considering it again... but ikesen's storyline is about japanese's history right? do you think it'll be hard to understand for someone that didn't know anything about the history? thank you!

After watching the trailer, I had a question… and how am I supposed to choose one card??? They are so awesome!!! And pretty! It's just a nightmare…

And I would like to know what it will be like… There are three endings and sequels in the current Sengoku. And a lot of guy's route has already been released. Are they really going to make us wait years for baby Ranmaru again? That's cruel! And how to make a third ending? I don't know… But I'm very curious to see it.

Considering that the game is already 10 years, it is not surprising that they have the most suitors. They add 2-3 new guys every few years. I think to create at least something new to work with, it can be quite boring to deal with the same characters that you already write so much about… And fresh blood (so to speak) can give a new boost to inspiration. And… spin the wheel of new stories… There's so much new!

I've never heard of such a comparison. But now, after what you've told me, I kind of see it. But I would say that he is combination of Yves and Licht. A very cute combination. I love Ieyasu… He's grumpy, stubborn, and sweet… and smart... Not to mention that he is very handsome and I LOVE his voice. I like the way he interacts with Nobu, and how he hates (read, worries about) Mitsunari, and how he loves spicy food… Damn, I really love this guy. But in Sengoku, all the guys are amazing. It's like a heaven… They're all great, and every story with them just proves it.

I don't know history. Even the history of my country, not to mention Japan. But Sengoku, like Genjiden, is not really a history. Yes, they have historical figures. Some historical facts. But… It's mostly fiction which have very little to do with reality. Do you remember Vampires? How different these boys are from historical figures. It's the same here. But there is a lot of war. On every route, at least something will happen on the battlefield. But mostly they focused on Mai's emotions or how brave/smart/strong/fearless/cunning the guys are.

I'm really looking forward to the release of this updated version of Sengoku. And if/when it comes out in English, I will definitely download it. I'm so happy… there will be cards. Like… not the ones I got by reading routes, but much more!!! I'm so happy!!!!

But JP… I have no idea how to reduce the number of JP games that I already have, so no… I won't add another one.

5th anniversary (Silvio)

Erie (@.cheshireliam) has already started translating this story. Here is the link to the first chapter. Perhaps Akira (@.cosmowgyral) will made her version of the translation. If/when she does, I'll add a link here.

This story is very different from the two previous ones that I read. Belle asks Silvio to teach her something. And for this they make small trips. Silly doesn't understand what her intentions are, and he has to use an old trick to get her to talk.

I'm glad he remembered him at that moment, but that was literally the only mention.

Belle is amazing in this story. In previous stories, the focus was on the man, but here… more on her. Their interaction, as usual, is very funny and childish, I was smiling all the time while reading it.

The epilogue contains a brief flashback to the time when Silly was just starting his adventures. And Carlo was already with him. Now I wonder how old Carlo is…
