THE SUPPORT MARIPOSA got from t’challa meant the world to her. as much as she already wanted to help, she wasn’t sure if she could do it if he hadn’t made her feel so welcomed and respected. the truth was that everyone loved t’challa and went along with what he wanted, so she knew that most people already perceived her in the way he did, which she was thankful for. 

she tries to calm herself down, her cheeks burning red because she was sure she embarrassed herself while trying to be funny. but it should be something she’s used to by now, she’s embarrassed herself many other times in front of him. ‘ you’re to blame, you know. you should have thought twice about teasing me so much. it was only a matter of time before i started giving you a taste of your own medicine. ‘ she mused, soon taking the dress with a sigh. she looked over at him while he spoke. she looked away and nodded her head, taking it with her into her bathroom and changing into her dress. she looked at herself in the mirror, laughing at how ridiculous she looked. she was hesitant on walking out, though she finally did, her cheeks bright red. she closed the bathroom door behind her, looking at t’challa with a shrug, her fingers running over the fabric of her dress. ‘ i don’t think it really fits right. ‘

ONE OF THE MOST IMPRESSIVE THINGS NATASHA has done was fool herself into believing that she could do without clint after having him for so long. the duo were not perfect; no couple ever truly was but there was a balance that they had created between them. and within the time that they worked with each other, natasha had developed real feelings for the archer.

SHE SMILED WIDE when t’challa told her that shuri liked her as well. she worried about being looked at as nothing more but an outsider. and though some people believed that and didn’t agree with this sort of change, mari felt more welcomed than she imagined she would. ‘ well it better be cool. ‘ she muttered with a fond smile.

SHE LET OUT a quiet hum, and although she knew he was joking around, he was also right. ‘ yeah, i wouldn’t last a second with them. you’ve got yourself a good group of warriors, t’challa. great, even. ‘ she just hoped she didn’t get on their bad side. ‘ oh yeah ? am i allowed to know what that is ? ‘ she teased, coming out of her shell a bit more. ‘ that’s what i thought. ‘

‘ i think you know what i mean, t’challa. ‘ she rose her eyebrows as well, copying his actions to make fun of him. she nodded her head, watching him pick it up with ease. she bet that he could pick her up that easy, too. but she had to shake those thoughts away. ‘ now i know i can make you carry all my stuff. ‘ his comment about her home caught her off guard, blinking and looking over at him with a genuine smile. no man has ever complimented her like this before. ‘ shut up. ‘ she snorted, having to turn away so he didn’t see her tinted cheeks and wide smile. she bit down on the inside of her lip, rolling her eyes and scoffing at his last comment. ‘ just can’t contain myself. ‘ which.. wasn’t a complete lie. she tossed some clothes into the box, humming to herself. she picked up one dress that was stuffed into the bottom of her drawer. she forgot she even had it. it was a shorter, deep crimson dress that she never had the confidence to wear. so she tossed it onto the reject pile on her bed, with no intention on bringing it. ‘ bored, yet ? ‘

CLINT KNEW THAT once he started, he wouldn’t be able to stop. he had deep feelings for natasha, feelings that didn’t even come close to the feelings he had for bobbie. what clint and nat had was much more special and always will be. 

he lets out a breathy chuckle at the noise she makes. and he knows that she puts up a front -- that the black widow is a woman who can’t be swayed. and that wasn’t a complete lie. she was strong in more ways than one, but clint was always able to bring out a more vulnerable side to her. 

his hand comes back to the side of her face, his fingers tangling into her hair and tugging lightly as they kissed. he wasn’t sure how much longer he could allow this to last, but he also didn’t see himself being able to stop. his free hand went to her leg, his thumb caressing her skin and pushing the end of her dress up.

“ give it enough time and i will be sure to show you. “ a round of goosebumps run up and down his skin at the faintest touch of his fingers, the anticipation heightening his senses to a level he did not know he could feel. “ all the more to seduce you, “ he mumbles, tilting his head to grant todd the access that he was searching for. it is when they are down to their boxers that he runs his hands down the length of his torso, fingers hooking under the waistband to pull them to his ankles. “ come on, “ eddie takes his hand, leading him towards the couch. “ sit. “ the demand comes as he sinks to his knees, glancing up at him with a smirk. 

‘ YEAH ? ARE YOU sure about that ? ‘ he teased, raising his eyebrows as if he were waiting to hear more about how todd was his one and only. 

‘ i might have to record it. ‘ he hummed, noticing his goosebumps and smirking to himself. he loved the way eddie reacted to todd, he hasn’t felt so appreciated in a way such as this. he slowly walks over to the couch, licking his lips before sitting down, watching him intently. his back arches off the couch caused by the anticipation, knowing what’s about to come. he let out a shaky sigh, just wanting to be touched by eddie. ‘ please. ‘ he whispered, biting down on his bottom lip as eddie made him wait.

‘ maybe i wanna know just how good i make you feel. ‘ he grinned when eddie stood up, todd closing the space between them, his fingers slowly running underneath the fabric of eddie’s shirt, the pads of his fingers moving delicately against eddie’s skin. he smiled up at him, pressing his lips against his jaw. ‘ you’re so sexy. ‘ he mused with a light chuckle, teasingly nipping at his skin before pulling away and pulling eddie’s shirt over his head, tossing it onto the couch. his fingers toyed at the button of eddie’s jeans, soon tugging them down to his ankles.

MARIPOSA SQUINTED AS he spoke, shaking her head in disagreement, though she couldn’t keep the smile off her face. ‘ wow, so you’re going to throw me under the bus ? now i know where i stand with you. ‘ she rolled her eyes with a slightly embarrassed chuckle, seeing that he wasn’t letting up about this beach “date”. ‘ i suppose you’re right. though next time i’ll make sure you’re the one asking me. ‘ she whispered shyly, her nose scrunching up. ‘ where’s the fun in that, your majesty ? ‘

‘ oh, i’m sure you have. ‘ she laughed at the way it came across in her mind. maybe she really wasn’t as innocent as she liked to believe. she nodded her head in agreement, though she knew her home was going to be like nothing he’s seen. he was a king, he was used to royalty and she was used to settling. she watched him grab the box, her eyebrows furrowing and her mouth dropping. though she quickly wiped that expression off her face, clearing her throat. ‘ um.. thank you. ‘ she blushed, taking another look back at him before walking inside her home, looking around. ‘ well, that’s the kitchen, that’s the living area and that’s my room in there. ‘ she chuckled, it didn’t need much of a tour. she walked into her room, opening her drawers to begin to decide what she would take.
