He managed to get up the first step yesterday, he’s desperate to get up them. Also fell asleep doing the food shop earlier, he never falls asleep so easily normally.

In the past couple of weeks we have moved house, had a haircut (X) and learnt to crawl (Gray) Gray also has two teeth coming through which have lead to a grumpy, snotty baby.

Haven’t been on tumblr for a while. Gray is 6 months now, he gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, desperate to crawl. Weaning has started and he loves tasting new foods. He’s such a happy little baby and he had a gorgeous smile. I love this little baby so much. X started school which has been a massive change for him. He tells me most mornings he doesn’t want to go but his teachers say he’s happy when he’s there and they’d let me know if he was upset. He had two days off this week for sickness and asked to go to school both days so it looks like he’s getting used to it. He such a sweet, kind kid as well, he absolutely loves his brother and I can see the things we do mirrored in his actions. It really reminds me to keep trying to be the best parent I can be for him.

okay but

fuck your stereotypes

long hair is not “girly”

the same way short hair is not “manly”

hair has no gender

hair is just hair

&as long as you’re not disrespecting a culture with the way you do it

you keep on doing you
#need to show this to certain family members#because fuck you my kid will have his hair how he likes#stop telling him to get a hair cut 😡

Yep!
Just small children things:
On the mornings you have to be out early - wakes up at the very latest second. Has no regard for time keeping.
On the mornings where you have nothing to do - 5am motherfuckers. Awake before the birds. Don’t even try to tempt us back to sleep because it won’t work.

He got himself to sleep. I must have put him in the perfect position to find his thumb and now he's having the first nap not on me in ages. I really need to get ready to go out but don't want to leave him upstairs alone whilst I sort things and don't want to move him and disturb him.
