It's Ace Week and Repostober, so I thought I'd drop this little collection of married ace couple Heck and Jamie art! Just a couple of Scottish weirdos who've known each other since they were kids and had various revelations over the years, and are now in their early forties and trying their best.

hey, thank you to all the people who’ve been liking and reblogging my art lately! i know it’s been a heckin’ long time since i last posted anything, and it means a lot that there are still folks out there showing interest and support!

i’ve been dealing with various things irl, and i’ll have more things to deal with in the nearish future, but i’m feeling a bit more hopeful about refinding that creative spark (and energy) this year!

hey all, the time has arrived. after many years, it’s time to sunset good ol’ owljolson. it’ll be staying up as an archive for the foreseeable future, so no worries there! but from now on, my main personal blog will be over at owltypical. and of course, my art and webcomic blogs will remain where they are!

suddenly developed some aches and pains in my drawing hand (because of course i would, i was even taking it easy this past week), so i’m gonna have to let it rest a little, but at least i squeaked out a few last little doodles before having to do so

Hey, all. Aside from aforementioned illnesses and exhaustion and such getting in the way (and like half my drawing hand’s fingers are currently bandaged and healing from stuff because that’s how my luck rolls), I got struck by a pretty bad art block the past couple months, so things have been more quiet around here than I would like!

I hope y’all are hanging in there and that the holidays are going well for you; usually I’d have some themed doodles up around now, but alas. Please imagine Heck and Jamie celebrating the successful burning of the Yule Goat in the meantime, they’d be pretty stoked about it. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and if I don’t see you again before then, Happy New Year! Here’s to a better year for all of us, and hopefully I’m back up and putting out art regularly again before too long!

Heck doesn’t play video games, but he does watch his husband play video games. And his particular set of skills includes both ‘handy with a sewing kit’ and ‘can summon small creatures in inexplicable locations’.

happy halloween, everybody!! it’s snowing where i am!! like hell i’m not gonna still party down quietly and take advantage of an excuse to draw some of my characters in costume, though

chary absolutely hates billy flynn, but walt is a chicago fan whose secondary super power is going full throttle on the big brown puppy dog eyes so he caved; meanwhile fran fine has been fashion goals for walt since he was like seven

ed would be extremely tickled by good omens, and honestly out of all my ocs these two are just perfect in-character matches for this particular themed duo
