killua really was homeless for like 2 years as a kid. didn’t he say he was like? 6? and literally homeless on his own too. here’s heaven’s arena. survive. don’t come home until you’ve reached floor 200. i’m not even thinking about the fighting i’m thinking about the cognitive development that a 6 year old is at. we know he’s a gifted kid so. i’m thinking about, like, the life skills he would need for the day to day of keeping himself alive with no caregiver. i guess if you have this big public heated/air conditioned building with public bathrooms and benches to sleep on, that’s shelter. then eventually you earn your own hotel room. if you have vending machines and restaurants you can get food as long as you have some money. i mean, yeah, it’s a cartoon so i guess a very organized and motivated 6 year old could keep themself alive under those circumstances. sure. why not!

jesus christ think of all those adults around. there must have been so many who helped him in little ways. some new clothes. spotting him change at a restaurant when he came up short. a blanket draped over him when he’s sleeping on a bench. and none of them actually doing anything real or substantial. not that they would have been able to if they’d looked into it. but like not even trying. it’s so sad, what can you do?

Slightly controversial hxh opinion n°2 but I hate that a significant part of the fandom treats Leorio like he is "the normal one" of the main 4 in terms of potential power levels, imo it's just canonically not true.

Ging (a top 5 nen user who directly received an attack from him) describes him as having "huge potential". Hisoka not only spares him but remarks multiple time on the fact that he is an "unripe fruit" and carries him directly to the next exam site to insure that he will pass.

Like come on, he is not just "some guy" with a big heart who lucked out during the hunter exam, a lot of signs point out that he will become a powerful nen user with a big heart!
