Commission WIP for @captainsavage42 who wanted a painting of the most iconic 30 seconds of movie history. Maybe I’m biased, but i also love this scene.

Top is the digital sketch, bottom 3 are progress shots of the painting on canvas; it starts out with washes of acrylic, color going deeper and deeper to form a base layer. Pigment markers will go on top, and also GOLD LEAF BECAUSE YAY
