as much as i adore mikey, my heart is full of many turtles which can be found over on my main blog @hqlfbloods if anybody is interested !!

there's a solemn nod initially, an expression far too serious for the orange - clad turtle's typical demeanour. ❝ that's right – goovil, ❞ he draws out the 'oo' sound, nearly turning it into some of humming. the lack of instant dismissal from the redhead was promising – the unamused looks he'd gotten from his brothers earlier weren't as fun compared to her slight laughter.

❝ you see april, neutral just doesn't cut it. if anything, it makes it seem like there's no good OR evil. but really? there's a mix of both. so, everyone is goovil..... plus it sounds more fun. ❞

another nod ( mostly to himself ) before mikey is shrugging off his explanation, leaning forward with shining eyes at her latter comment. ❝ really? the dictionary? ❞ he grins, excitement buzzing beneath freckled green skin. take that donnie! his creations may not be science-y but they were still recognisable. ❝ i'm like .... the king of words ! ❞

  ❝Goovil?❞ April repeats him, a snort coming from her. The phrases he came out with sometimes made her laugh, but his way of thinking was sound, really. He had his own little goofy way of doing and explaining things; it wouldn't be Mikey otherwise, right? ❝I mean, most people would say neutral, but I think goovil works all the same.❞ She nods lightly, shrugging her shoulders. Donnie would tell her not to encourage him, but why not? It lightened the mood!

  ❝Might have to get that submitted into the dictionary or something.❞ She says jokingly with a roll of her eyes. Though... maybe she shouldn't have said that.

it wasn't every day that mikey got confused for his red - clad brother. sure, they had pretty similar appearances, heights and signature colours easy enough to mistake for one another – especially in low lighting.

needless to say, he wasn't offended by the mixup. rather, he put on his best beaming michelangelo grin.

❝ raphie isn't here yet, but he should be on his way .... though he didn't say he was gonna meet anybody, ❞ not that raph was one to WILLINGLY offer such information up ( he was totally bringing up the nickname later too ! ) ❝ but we can wait together if you want! ❞

baby blues shine with curiosity, even with the slightly apprehensive steps michelangelo took towards his older brother. In Raph's terms, 'showing something' could mean anything from a new move the red - clad turtle had learnt to some form of prank.

he really hoped it wasn't the latter.

still, whether it was being naive or truly optimistic, mikey offered raph a smile as his hand settled upon his shoulder.

The youngest brother's name hits the air, and once he's in the dojo, Raph puts a hand on his hip expectantly, waiting. As soon as his greens fall on Michelangelo, his focus is centered, and he sets a hand on his brother's shoulder.
