Your response to the question about CNC is concerning to me- I think it's really important to note that it means "consensual non-consent" and that things like somnophilia are NOT consensual. It's disingenuous not to mention how that community is full of rape apologia and pushes the boundaries of consent as you've shown by listing somnophilia - you can't consent when you're not awake-> no longer in the arena of pretend, that's just normalized rape.

If your blog wasn't an education one I wouldn't be sending a concern like this I would just dip- but I feel the need to say something for the sake of the rest of your followers. It's very true, you cannot guarantee someone's consent while asleep. Which is why scenes like that (aside from the roleplay scenes) rely on informed consent, which is where any parties involved know/agree upon what's going to happen beforehand and are aware of any risks, including the fact they might not be able to ask someone to stop in the midst of it. (Similar to medical decisions that involve impaired continual consent.)

It's also similar to people who's kink is drunk sex. They'll often agree on having sex beforehand to better insure someone's consent before it's impaired. It works similarly with somnophillia/sleep play.

Is it a murkier area, consent-wise? Yes, but that's why it's CNC. It's also why people are encouraged to practice RACK (Risk Aware Consensual Kink) specifically with things like CNC.

People are allowed to do things, including get into riskier and/or murkier types of kink play. Not just physically but mentally as well. That's their business. I'm not encouraging anyone to do anything without consent, that's a whole separate thing.
