A violinist wired up to make sure he's heard above the surrounding din as he busks at Book City, Futian, Shenzhen. Of course, I donated some cash for performance and he even said thank you in English.
If you visit this area at night you'll find several varieties of street performers including rock bands and artists who'll make a pencil sketch of you for a reasonable fee.

A happy passenger taking a Taxi Trike.
Taxi Trikes, highly illegal in urban Shenzhen but he's heading out of the city and arguably away from the lazy arm of Chinese law.

A very inebriated guy who started posing came to shake my hand, then grabbed my arse and made a pass at me! I released myself from his clutches and then he slowly and drunkenly weaved his way into the night.
Location: Shenzhen North Railway Station.

Keen photographer ZongXin 宗信 right, I met in LuoHu, Shenzhen while he was taking street shots. I noticed he had a Nikon D7000, same model as I have, I tried to advise him on a shot then to discover he was deaf and mute.
He communicated with me by writing Chinese on his phone and when I replied, as I can't write Chinese fast enough, his friend Anya 夜夜 wrote on her phone my reply. This carried on for almost half an hour.
After looking through his collection of photos it's pretty clear ZongXin really knows what he's doing. In a lot of his images, mainly taken in LuoHu, Shenzhen he has learnt his to create great photos by his wisdom in how to use available light effectively. We now communicate via WeChat a kind of like a Chinese version of Twitter.
