Booker is back from the depths of depression with more fics!

First of all, there are five new chapters for the Texting Troubles series! Although the ask blog is no longer active, I do still like writing more text posts for the mercs.

Second, I have this fic inspired by my favourite YouTubers, who read Reddit posts in funny ways. This one even has awesome art made by my friend!

For pride month I finally drew fanart of my friend's fic, which I have been meaning to do ever since he posted it. Everyone go read it now it's amazing!!!

The Jackal! Short for "Jack-Of-All-Trades."

Pseudonym; Westley Wilde. Mid 30s. They/them (but not particularly bothered by pronouns, so all are okay).

Can use up to 3 other mercs secondary or melee weapons, with some limitations. No class-specific effect will translate over, only weapon-specific qualities. Overall, is good to fill in tactical gaps, but is not highly specialized in any particular field.

They like spending their off time on building and decorating miniature models. They originally wanted to be a toy maker/designer but circumstances led to a life of mercenary work.

And lots more. I love this cast to bits.

Make deductions and decisions. Puzzles have multiple solutions, some of which may please your neighbours more than others.  What path will you choose? Who will you enlist to help you?

Phone for help of you get stuck! Your older brother Mycroft (Richard Rycroft, Game of Thrones) is always ready to act as your consultant, just give him a call at his club if you need a hint.

Dunno, as a gay ace I fully agree with Sharks. A couple doesn't have to engage in PDA to be romantic. With how comic 6 ended, we all already knew how truly bonded these two were. They're physically affectionate & evidently still very close after they left Mann Co. Medic is in the same proximity to Heavy as his mama, in that last picture, & a basic understanding of art will let you know that that means they're still super close.

Would I have been angry at a kiss or a pair of rings? No. Am I happy that they are basically bonded for life even if not explicitly romantic? Absolutely! They're the closest pair of mercs in the series, closer than Engie & Pyro or Demo & Solly. Not everything has to be explicit, & not everything has to be explicitly romantic. I am happy with how the comic has turned out (except I wish Medic had at least one line 😭)

This is probably OOC but in my HC I don’t see Scout as completely oblivious to queer subjects and queer people. Though he didn’t want to assume someone’s gay because of some gestures.
