I can’t believe I live in a world where Amelia Shepherd is a mom of a heathly little boy who will be with her for more than 43 minutes. I’m so soft for her and I know she’s gonna be the best mom ever. And I’m relieved that Krista reviled that she didn’t name her son "Derek" (unpopular opinion I know, ask me and I would probably write about what I didn’t want Amelia to name her baby after Derek)

I have to admit Amelink grew on my heart episode after episode but... gosh I miss Omelia. I don’t like what they’re doing with Amelia’s character since her brain tumor was removed and mostly season 15... They said that they didn’t want the tumor to be the cause and erase so much of Amelia’s wild personality that I LOVE since private practice. But I think they did now she’s all like sunshine, rational, reasonable... We didn’t see her really deal with having another baby while with Owen it was a pretty big deal and she freaked out with even the thought of having a baby and suddenly it’s all okay for her? I know people grew especially mentally and you should always work to become a better person but come on... I don’t know I’m so torn between being happy to see her happy after all she’s been through for years and the feeling of the writers completely changing her personality and making her so out of character and almost like she didn’t go through everything that happened before her brain tumor was removed. Anyway can’t wait to see them as new parents and have everyone meeting this precious baby boy 🥺

(Love Omelia, always have, always will, it breaked my heart when they divorced, but I made myself a reason and their were both happy with their relationships. Isn’t their family complicated enough? Can’t wait to see what’s coming tho! How will Owen react? How will Teddy react? HOW WILL LINK REACT? January seems so far away)

AMELIA

My baby girl getting her own centric it’s what she deserves! Such a good episode. Love how it’s outside of Seattle, in her hometown and everything it feels so refreshing. And of course there’s a good neuro case! I love how she decided to introduce Link as Owen to her family until mama Hunt came. The way she stand up for herself in front of her whole family was INCREDIBLE! Still so much she didn’t tell that would worth the mention (her son, Ryan, rehab…) but it was enough for this time I guess. She’s just the best. A real queen.

ATTICUS

Can this man be any better? Even though I’m not a hundred percent for their Relationship and I still want my Omelia back, man, he’.s just a DREAM with her. He made her smile, he made her laugh and happier so I’m good with that. Get you a man that didn’t know you that much but still back you up at a family diner when your sisters are talking craps on you. Really glad Amelia made up to him at the end after what she told him on their way back after the diner.

KATHLEEN

Sorry not sorry but to me she’s just a Mc Bitchy 2.0 (the first one being Nancy of course) couldn’t they have bring my girl Liz instead? Looks like she was just here to hurt Amelia every time she could. I really wish she could see how much her little sister has grown and the beautiful woman she became, no matter the mistakes she had made in the past. Would love to see them have a good discussion and finally bonding but now I’m good without her.

NANCY

Erk. Never liked her and it’s even worse after that episode. She never cared about Amelia, then she saw her and invited her to a diner to finally only throw her mistakes to Amelia’s face? HELL NO. She deserves better. Kinda glad they gave her “redemption” at the end with Amelia wanted to see her. Would not mind to see her again and have a real redemption arc, like apologizing to Amelia and be in good terms at the end.

MAMA SHEPHERD

Finally we’ve got scene with Amelia and her mom! I’ve missed her so much! Didn’t expected their reunion to be that good. I cried of leughing when she came and throw her bag and coat to Kathleen and only cared about hugging her baby girl Amelia. Their big scene at the end like… OMG I CRIED! This is what Amelia needed. Because no matter how old you are, you’ll Always need your mother and now Amelia know she can count on hers. I Always knew Amelia was the “you remind me so much of your dad that it hurts. Still would have loved that Amelia talk about her baby to her mom but that’s okay, it was enough for one time, let’s save that for another time.
