I love how honest you are about being a jealous bitch in games because SAME. Fire emblem awakening slapped me in the face with that intro CG with sumia and chrom /silly (I know there's no "canon" she's just the default but it counts)

I love rival romances, in theory, but god help me if they're going for a character I want I'm gonna fist fight them /j

In games like shepherds, I don't often feel the need for rival romances. I mainly like it in games like harvest moon cus the kids can interact, plus the game continues endlessly, it gives you something to do after finishing the story, although I remember how annoying it was to avoid the rival heart events for my chosen RO. The rival stuff progresses slow, but I just don't want them to even meet 😂 I would reset the game if I accidentally triggered it.

I know it's not real, but we can all be a bit petty at times about fictional characters, and then we can laugh about it

Honestly though I love reading stuff from this blog, even those unrelated to the characters, because every time I go "You're just like me fr."

Yes anon, I felt the exact same way in that same cutscene! 👏 I made it my life's mission to neglect and isolate Sumia after that for real 🔫 THAT'S how jealous and petty I can get, lol! I've always been interested in playing Harvest Moon, but I find I have to be in a very specific mood to invest long-term in farming-sim and resource-management games lol!

Omg Blade's latest day off was so <3333 honestly was not expecting That question i loved it, it was like he just could not help but ask like when he asked about what was going on with Red and the mc <3

what amused me was while Blade is feeling closer and having that intimate moment with the mc and perhaps feeling like there's a Chance This is exactly where mine starts feeling down about it all because why would someone with houses and estates like a damn near aristocrat would take her seriously as a romantic prospect He will surely pick someone more suited to his clan once everything is fixed and is like He told me this because he's turning me down gently 💀 clown to clown communication

Hello! personally thanking you for the '...but i dont want to be a burden to you' in blade s latest romance interlude, it was the most in character option for my mc i could not not pick it <3

Which brought me another question...im guessing i got a -something romance from that....do we have to take all the romance flags and all the 'character hardening' points for the best ending or can we miss a few to rp 👉👈

Hi anon, thanks so much for your nice message! And you can definitely miss a few romance flags and hardening points and still get the best ending! I definitely bake in wiggle room and don't expect people to get 100% of all the possible points in order to get that good ending for their romance! (For example, you can get a few romance points with Blade by dancing with him at Prihine's gala, but obviously players who let Prihine die won't have access to those: it's still totally possible for them to romance Blade regardless! It's just easier if you do get them, because you get more of that wiggle room by getting those extra points early on, and it also means you can afford to miss some later. But not a hard requirement by any means.)

I will note that some characters have less wiggle room and smaller margins for error than others. For example, Blade has a high romance flag requirement to kickstart his romance, so less room for error; whereas you can miss something like 5 to 7 to 10 potential romance flags for someone like Briony or Trouble and still initiate their romance, depending on timing. But since you had access to Blade's romantic content in his latest day off, it doesn't sound like you're having any trouble! Missing a few potential romance flags here and there is inevitable, so no worries on that!

TL;DR - yes, you can miss a few to roleplay :)

I've played through the alpha demo several times over the last few days. Yesterday I had the high romance route with Blade and there were TWO moments where he almost kissed the MC. TWO! In general, you notice Blade's development more and more, he's getting much more physical, always making sure the MC is okay - I played as an elf and he covered the MC's ears because of acclimatization and it was so incredibly cute! I saw another ask and it asked when there would be a kiss with Blade and you replied that it would happen soon. I wonder all the time what this one will look like because:

Will it be gentle and brief but passionate or

hungry, passionate and more intense? At one moment it said that the MC saw hunger in his eyes and I can imagine after he killed the man with his looks - that he must be pretty desperate (like me...). Also, I love how open Blade is with affection - because the others get it on the missions too, like Chase, Trouble and Red. I can't wait for the next updates and Blade interludes, the story and the universe is really amazing - love it!

Honestly I love the asks about people struggling to romance someone cus they're getting troubles scenes instead

Cus it makes me imagine him as like an enthusiastic wingman that lost the plot half way through and subconciously just started romancing MC instead (subconciously is underlined)

Question for the FWB routes- would Chase or Tallys think anything of MC buying and wearing lingerie (or something else a little scandalous) for the sole reason of wearing during fun times after the fwb has been initiated? Just doing something small like that appearance-wise (even like. Grooming differently) after a little time has passed?? To me it may be flagged as crossing into not-casual territory when previously it was like ‘haha just whetting my whistle with a pal we don’t have to get fancy!!’ But I’m curious if those two would clock that as such, even subconsciously.

Hi anon, good question! Neither of them would take MC wearing lingerie or grooming themselves differently too seriously in an FWB relationship. To them, 'bed games' encompass a wide range of fun sexual activities to do together, so lingerie and things like that would be as much a part of it as anything else MC might want to experiment with/enjoy with them, like toys or roleplay or fancy oils or something like that. For them, the line isn't whether the activities are 'fancy' or require more effort than straightforward vanilla sex would, or not: it's more about whether romantic commitment, monogamy, or deep emotional intimacy start to become a part of the equation for either party. So this wouldn't raise red flags for them personally at all, unless MC made a big deal about it like 'I would never do this with someone else,' etc.! I hope that makes sense!
