hey everyone! just came to check in on this now desolate blog. 

i was talking with a buddy today, and we ended up talking about dangan ronpa. i had to check the wiki to get a characters name i had forgotten, and in looking at the gallery i ended up seeing my own blog (this blog) as the source of some photos, which is hilarious to me! i thought i’d make this post as like a landing for anyone curious what this blog is, because i see a lot of my posts are still getting some traction.

i made this blog soon after i turned 13 [in 2012], i had learned about tumblr through deviantart when some artists i liked (and a friend) made an account. & through this site i got swept up into fandom spaces, legend of korra, and some other things, but the biggest one i got swept up into was dangan ronpa (which is why that's most of the contents of this blog). I was 14 so like PRIME age to get into the series imo. the anime adaptation was airing, the games weren’t localized yet, it was a specific time and place. 

i got a dangan ronpa artbook as a present, and ended up scanning a lot of it because there wasn’t any access to what was inside at the time, among other contributions off random things like finding out on the drama CDs that the V.A.s said the name of the franchise, or whatever else. just random stuff i came across that i liked at the time. 

none of this is all that unusual or noteworthy, but at the time i had fun with the attention it did give me, and nowadays it gets a chuckle out of me realizing some scans i did when i was 14 are on the wiki page for komaeda 8 years later.

at the same time tho, and this is normal given the age i was: i naturally don’t stand by everything thats on this blog. one thing that immediately comes to mind is that i used to repost stuff from pixiv on here with a source link... but i didn’t ask the artists. that sucks and is bad don’t do that kids, i shouldn’t have. 

i’m not into dangan ronpa these days (i havent even finished v3), but it was fun liking it when i did. i’d link my current blog, but i think i have in the past so if you’re really curious i’m sure you can find it. thanks.

I don’t know why I can’t export a gif of my animation with the good timing, I’ve tried everything without success. So the timing is not quite right here. I’m posting it anyway :/

Je ne sais pas pourquoi je n’arrive pas à exporter avec le bon timing malgré tous mes essais, du coup je poste quand même mon animation telle quelle même si ce n’est pas tout à fait ça :/

Crystal Gem Sprites 

I had planned on starting a Patreon focused on Blender tutorials but I started school recently and I just haven’t had the time for it. 

My first project was going to be rendering crystal sprites but I never got the chance to finish it (all the component parts are done. I just have to edit them together) 

These are some of the examples I had made using the technique. I plan to get the tutorial done eventually – and I upload the source file (and the models for these sprites) when I get to it!
