so like, to recap so far, inside man has
- a detective named jefferson grieff (jefferson hope’s evil twin i guess)
- an assistant to the detective who “records” grieff’s interviews with his photographic memory but otherwise provides zero moral guidance, due to being a, uh. convicted serial killer on death row lol (the ultimate nega-watson)
- j-grieff, the death row detective, is “different” to sherlock holmes and all the other sherlock knock-offs out there because he understands that “anyone can be a murderer”, “anyone is capable of the abominable”. as opposed to sherlock “good samaritan/bad samaritan” holmes
