Iñaki Aliste is an Designer that I found by browsing through the internet and Tumblr! Iñaki’s work is very inspiring due to the space that is used, the proportion and also the fact that every design is hand drawn ! The floor plans are very detailed and the colours used are very vibrant, and also being made to scale. This Artist could potentially be apart of my case study poster.

Few weeks ago we was focusing on mapping, also the ‘Made in Wolves’ project. I took the opportunity to relate these subjects to something I’m passionate about and which would be potential my next step at Uni; studying Interior Design or Interior Architecture. This was a quick floor plan I did, for a building idea for hidden artists in Wolves they could use, to give themselves a platform, for the community to come and visualise their work. Today’s morning session was based on Artist writing. To be honest I didn’t know how deep this subject could extend, however, the morning session did prove that. It was a great opportunity to be introduced to many different ways I can review and reflect my work, other artists and even critical analysis, Via; social media: Instagram, tumblr, blogs, websites, journals and many more. I worked in a group of 4 and we came up with ideas how artists reflect and review their own work and subjects they talk about which was very inspiring.

Today, the class got split into 3, I’m in group C at the moment which is Drawing. ‘Branding & targeting’ was our heading.

At first, I was so confused on what I was aiming for or even what the outcome could be. However, I deep the concept of creating a product for somethings that relates only to Wolverhampton it’s self.

I understood even describing a city alone can get deeper than you expect it to and can also transfer to real life drawings and a whole product it’s self!
