summer break has just begun! I finished my last class of the year earlier (we watched twilight and I was the most invested person in that classroom it was so embarrassing), so now I'm at the coffee shop and i'll do some maintenance and get my life back together :D

i am officially done with the academic portion of the term! i'll take the time to enjoy being done in a few days once i've moved out of the dorm and gotten my final grades, but it's a relief to have hit the submit button on my final assignments.

• I have been very distracted these past few days and I’m not a fan.

• I went to the library before the lab today and turns out it was a good call.

• I had to pick between attending the open day for Uni or the one for my music school and I unfortunately told my professor I’d be in the lab. Ughhh.

• I need to clean my room and reroute.

first day of actually attempting to lock in! i still haven’t done any english even though that’s my first exam but im hoping i can cover it on the day beforehand because im normally quite good at english. i should also be covering more maths as thats a subject ive been failing for a while now, but here’s what ive done today -

📚i started with 1 hour and 10 minutes of home economics where i covered milk, fish and protein alternatives but i didn’t finish it fully.

📚soon after i spent only 30 minutes drawing out river diagrams for geography but i still need to look over them again because i don’t remember it all.

📚then in the afternoon i did a full hour of irish and wrote out flash cards for ghleann álainn. (i pray this doesn’t come up in the exam.)

📚to finish off the evening i did another full hour of history and i wrote out notes for early christian ireland but again i didn’t fully complete the chapter so hopefully ill finish it tomorrow.

Had to relocate my little desk setup because 1. I kind of end up using that table to eat 2. Always end up working at the coffee table anyway, and 3. We need that space for the AC once it gets warmer. Now my books are all at the little bedside table. Idk how I feel abt all this lol but we go with the flow~ still looks cute cant complain.

Pics from last week. It only took me adding the alt text to realize that my chapter draft schedule is way off and I need to update it lol…at least I’m still starting it within the time limit? Either way, need to revise that schedule.

Anyway, it’s a Monday, and I don’t teach until tomorrow, so I’m counting today as the last day of spring break. Copy-pasting the list of things I haven’t finished yet here:

Grade at least half close readings

Finalize worksheets, rare book selection, prompts, and reading pages for second half of course

Workshop application

Schedule eye doctor appointment

Probably only going to partially finish the first two, but at least I have some goals! And I did get through more than half of my spring break list so that’s nice
