Deltarune has given us a lot of striking images, but Susie touching Ralsei's face in a gesture of forgiveness and leaving a bloody handprint on his cheek because she punched a stained-glass window might just take the cake in terms of getting thematically freaky with it.
#it was SO stunning to see#and also just so jarring#INCREDIBLE work toby fox once again#im shaking my switch wanting to know what the prophecy ends with#first thought was susie probably must die#like yeah that would be terrible enough given her entire story up to this point#how she's finally getting comfortable with herself and having friends and feeling worthwhile#and now she has to die? that'd be extremely hard to cope with#second thought though? that all of the trio must die#it's one thing to maybe have to sacrifice yourself#it's another to then have to know/expect others to do the same--especially your loved ones#either would explain ralsei's extreme reluctance to tell the ending#anyway. got away from myself there. thank you for the post op!#deltarune
