((Mun just realized he is not caught up with Supernatural, and has the episode recorded. He must go for the importance of this blog.))

"But, I heard you, you were glad how well your students practice was going so far," Castiel shot back, his confusion growing.

"Well, recently I've been assisting those in need. I've become a Guardian Angel, now that my Garrison in gone," Castiel answered in a half-smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.

Castiel blinked and titled his head to the left. "Your generosity. You've been sacrificing much of your time to help these children. I don't need help, you misunderstand me."

"I don't want anything from you. I want to help you," Castiel replied, feeling rather unthreatened by the knife. "Or at least assist you in any struggles you face. Your generosity should be rewarded in my eyes," he explained as he gestured to the building in front of them, meaning the dance classes for unprivileged children.

Castiel gently shook his head. "No, I'm not here for the show, I'm here for you," he said in a gentle voice. Oh boy. It was like he was just trying to be creepy as all hell.

Castiel nodded, his eyes drifting to the woodland floor, and to the trees around them. Yes. Purgatory. It had been a long time since he had been here. "I do not. Traveling to Purgatory was... difficult for me. For personal, as well as physical reasons. It's far different from traveling between Heaven and Earth, where the gates are wide open. I am sorry for taking so long."

"Very few of them survive, and even so, they have gone deep underground, a crusade to kill them all would prove impossible, if that's what you're implying, Haniel."

Castiel smiled, he couldn't believe his luck. The only being in creation left who could help him stop the Apocalypse. "Doctor, it's good to see you again."

The Doctor stumbled out of the TARDIS, coughing as he waved smoke from in front of his face. “Thanks Dear,” he wheezed, coughing again and releasing golden particles of regeneration energy into the sky. He tugged on the remains of his old jacket and clumsily spun around to find a group of people staring at him. He waved his hand in greeting. “Everything’s fine,” he gasped. “This is all completely normal….. Don’t I know a bunch of you?”

"There's no one behind you," Castiel assured her. She seemed rather disturbed by the sound of the man four stories up who had casually tossed a soda can down the alley before going back inside. So, the angel decided to appear before her to try and calm her down.
What he didn't realize of course, was that he was currently inhabiting the body of a tall, dark-haired man who spoke with a deep baritone and wore a long trenchcoat. Which, to most people, ranged from creepy to downright rapist-in-the-alley-way scary.

Castiel paused for a moment, confused by her many, almost hysterical questions. He decided to take them each one at a time. "Yes. Other angels. Though I act alone for the most part now. If you are one of his Companions, he will be looking for you, at some point in time during his life. You will have to create an event large enough to stand out against the currents of time."

Lovely to meet you!

"What kind of reassurance? In your work?" Castiel asked, making a vague gesture about the office space.
