Kazuha held up his left hand, quirking an eyebrow at the newly placed cuff around his wrist, before glancing at the other end, cuffed to a hand of a different owner. He glanced over at the other man he was now bound to, shaking his head with a sigh when his eyes were met with a cheeky smile that he should've expected by now.

"There," Heizou proclaimed proudly, pulling at his own cuffed wrist that pulled Kazuha towards him, "now there's no way for Kaedehara Kazuha, the great fugitive ronin, to escape my grasp this time."

"Still bitter, I see," Kazuha chuckled, observing the pout that promptly crept into the detective's expression.

"Well, you were gone for quite a while. I've got to take measures to ensure that doesn't happen again."

"I assure you," Kazuha paused, musing for the moment, "that the last thing you'd want is to be tied to me twenty-four seven."

"I don't really have a choice," Heizou scoffed, fingers tapping along the surface of Kazuha's hand. "Tossed the key a while ago, so there's no way to unlock the cuffs. Guess we've got to deal with each other from now on."

Though he was certain the other was joking, Heizou's expressions always proved most difficult to read. "This will only be to your detriment."

"Oh? How so?" The glint in Heizou's eye was of one that welcomed confrontation for his own entertainment. "What're you going to do? Sever my arm with your blade to escape?"

"I can demonstrate, but are you prepared for the consequences?"

"Entertain me, Kaedehara."

A short laugh escaped Kazuha's lips just from under his breath.

Very well, then.

"Ah-!! W-Wait, whahahat-! Nohohohoho!!"

In one swift movement, Kazuha retracted his own arm, pulling the other into and fall into his embrace. With Heizou now easily in reach, Kazuha now had full agency to run his fingers over the exposed sides, a task made easier with the revealing outfit Heizou enjoyed trouncing around with.

"Whahat thahAHAhaha—!! Kaedeheharahaha!"

"Isn't this what you wanted? To be stuck with me?" Kazuha teased, fingers playfully dancing along the bare skin.

Due to the way Kazuha's arm was cuffed to Heizou's, it made it quite easy to tickle the detective, leaving only one good hand to defend himself, while the other hand twisted and curled uselessly. If he wanted to attack at the sensitive underarm, all he needed to do was simply lift his cuffed hand up, forcing Heizou to do the same. Or should he prefer his ribs or sides, blocking the cuffed hand was of no issue. It was like Heizou was akin to a little puppet in Kazuha's own game

"N-Noho—!" Heizou shook futilely in Kazuha's hold, kicking his legs, but to no avail. "It's ihihin my back pohohocket! The kehEHEhehey!"

"Ah, no no no," the samurai shook his head once more, keeping up the fervent tickling, pulling Heizou back, "the key is gone now, remember? Guess you've got to deal with me from now on."

"you're the writer, you control how the story goes" no not really. i wrote the first sentence and then my characters said "WE WILL TAKE IT FROM HERE" and promptly swerved into an electrical fence.
