As a dance photographer I get in there with my clients and mode their greatness! I want them to look as great as they train and because I am a trained dancer I know the tools they need to look their best in front of the lens.

Akanke recently joined CATALYST, a program I collaborate with, which is a partnership between @terminusmbt and @dancecanvas. This initiative offers mentorship, resources, and career support to Black Ballet dancers on a career track. I’m thrilled to be involved as a partner of CATALYST, supporting the development of the upcoming generation of dancers.

I am a fan of location shoots so you know the @georgiaaquarium has been on my list. So…guess who got a chance to cross that off her bucketlist??🙋🏾‍♀️🙋🏾‍♀️. I captured two dancers from the @atlantaballet 2nd Dance company. It was a challenge so we made sure we walked thru the space and got test shots so that for shoot day we were all set.
