Two things that come to mind about this photo: 1. I’m proud to be Canadian,eh eh eh!👆🏾🇨🇦 2. After 27.5 years of living I’m finally starting to accept and love the skin I’m in👀🙃Thick Thick and possibly forever thick I shall be😍😍 and that’s okay with me as long as I’m healthy and doing what I can to take care of myself. I can’t afford to waste anymore days/ years hating myself! 💃🏾 This is still a daily work in progress tho... I’ve learned it’s important for me to be able to love on myself and show myself kindness outside of the opinions of others... most of my life I’ve been the meanest person to myself which is super sad but super common when I hear stories shared by others. Along with learning to show myself mad love it has helped that I’ve been blessed to be surround by a community of people that loving and fruitfully pour into me. I’m also super thankful to have a partner who has loved me as is from day one 😍🙏🏽 being loved in this way has helped make my journey to self acceptance a lot richer and less stressful because I don’t have to factor in dealing with put downs or shame at all just love, love, respect, encouragement, support teamwork, and more love.🙏🏽 Truly grateful🙌🏾 This post was envisioned to be short lol ahhh welp 😆🌹 #growing #selflove #honesty #oneofakind #madeinhisimage (at Bluffer's Park)

self-confidence, i’m realizing, is a lot deeper than just thinking i’m beautiful and being free in who i am. it also includes being confident in my decisions and trusting myself to be committed to the things i want to do. to step outside of my comfort zone and assure myself that i will be okay in doing so. this kind of self-confidence will help me see the success i want to see.
