Making travel plans for summer and came across this last night. My first entry stamp in US and serependitously I opened it on the same date I had entered 14yrs back. It’s just something that stopped me in my tracks and made me reminisce of how naive I was when I came here. Also I was super nervous about all the questions the immigration officers had asked me. It was also my first time traveling alone by myself internationally with the feeling that I don’t know when I would see my family again. Luckily my parents came to visit me few months later and my sweet husband made sure that he came home for lunch everyday so that I didn’t feel lonely and completely lost!! 😀 .
