My Thoughts after the InkTober drawing challenge

My Thoughts after the InkTober drawing challenge

At the end of this text, I have included all 31 drawings that I completed for the InkTober challenge. I drew those! 31 drawings of 30 X 40 cm size papers in 31 days and I’m super proud of my accomplishment.

I had to push myself to complete a drawing every day for the past month to successfully complete the InkTober drawing challenge.

InkTober Starts here

I mentioned in my last post, that I would share my expectations about the InkTober challenge and how I have prepared myself for this challenging competition.

Here we go!

First of all, I have put together my “toolbox”. I have assembled my pen collection, which I am very happy with.  I won’t use a sketchbook and will be drawing on 50 X 70 cm (20″ X 28″) size papers.

I'm Back and ready to challenge myself

I’m back after a 7 month break from my art, during which I concentrated on helping my son to prepare for his university entrance exams. I am delighted to tell you that he was successful and is now studying psychology at the Georgian National University. I’m so happy for him but also for myself because I’m now free to return to my old lifestyle and start painting and drawing again!

Red Ivy League

My favorite time of the year is when some ivy plant leaves change color and become completely red or completely yellow. It is a strange plant – its roots damage walls, it is a parasitic plant and some types are even poisonous but you have to admit – it’s stunning!
