I cannot put into words how much I Fucking Loathe the fact that when you search something on youtube now it will randomly intersperse blocks of "people also watched" and "for you" into the results. That's not what I searched for, youtube. I typed in a search query because I wanted to see search results, not random unrelated garbage you have placed in my way apparently to either inconvenience me or force me to scroll further for actual results. I despise your wretched little games and every time I see it I can only instantly close the tab as I am overcome with the urge to burn something down.

body neutrality is NOT, "so long as you're happy and healthy, your body is a good body". it's about getting rid of the idea of a "good body" at all. it's saying that your body is A BODY, and having a body is a neutral feature of all humans. it's saying that specific bodies shouldn't be focussed on more than others, because all bodies are bodies

when you say "so long as you're happy and healthy", you're not actually helping. because. unless you've put in the hard work of deconstructing what you think "happiness" and "healthiness" look like, I can guarantee "happy and healthy" is just going to loop back to ableism and fatphobia

One of Bingge's little sons gets angry with his father for reasons (he has several), steals Xin Mo, makes a portal and runs away. For some reason, when he lands through the portal, it's in the middle of Shen Yuan's apartment, which is freaked out to shit that a child in fancy old robes has suddenly appeared in his apartment

Since he used Xin Mo but didn't bring it with him, just making a portal to go and not come back, Shen Yuan just listens to the whole story, believes him completely (how could he not believe a child with a zuiyin looking like a mini-Binghe and with the strength to lift his sofa?), and says: "well, fuck it, I'll look after Luo Binghe's son until he come looking for him. It won't take him long, will it?"

So Shen Yuan spends a whole night reading about children and their behavior, asks many questions on forums like "I have to take care of my youngest nephew for a few weeks. what do you recommend?", and decides that, great, he'll have a good routine for him! He gets him clothes in his size, find out what places he can take him, what movies he can take him to see...

The first few days are difficult. As the days turn into weeks, Shen Yuan begins to worry. A whole month passes in which Shen Yuan and Binghe's little son form a bond until Luo Binghe appears in his apartment

...and Luo Binghe is furious. He accuses Shen Yuan of kidnapping his son, and it's the boy who has to jump between them, growling and saying that Yuan-ge is a BETTER DAD. Luo Binghe is frozen. What?

And Luo Binghe's little son keeps saying: Yuan-ge has been a better dad! He knows his favorite colors, his favorite foods, what things he likes! He doesn't force him to train until he's tired even when he no longer wants to train! He lets him play and run in the park just because! He kisses his wounds when he scrapes his knees and puts bandages on it, he doesn't force him to train his blood parasites to heal!!

Luo Binghe is outraged, of course, but also angry. On top of Shen Yuan STEALING his son, he has the nerve to TRICK him into despising him... And well, yes. Binghe's little son doesn't want to leave, Shen Yuan also does not intend to leave his apartment to go to Binghe's Palace. So, well, Binghe just invites himself to stay: since his son says that Yuan-ge is SUCH a good dad, then he will see what makes that Yuan-ge SUCH a good dad

So now Shen Yuan has a child attached to him, an Emperor who looks at him with distrust, a lot of fear, and a lot of concern for the little boy who at this point he already loves very much

Well, nobody can't blame Shen Yuan!! It's a son of Binghe! He definitely has his own mini protagonist halo! Shen Yuan can do nothing but love him very much and adore him and want to see him happy!! And that's completely normal!

He will put up with Luo Binghe invading his apartment and his space if necessary to make this child happy

what you need to understand about recommending a show to me is that no matter how much we both know I'll like it, I can't watch it until the Neurodivergence Department in my brain approves it. I don't know when that will be, and I don't have any more control over it than you do.

There should totally be a movement called “Sleep in Public” where people defend their right to sleep on public property. Sleep in your cars. Sleep on benches. Sleep at the park. Just make it a mundane and regular part of life to see someone napping in the library. It would make it much harder to single out the homeless for harassment if everyone else is doing the same thing and much harder to argue that it’s a “threat to public safety” when it’s so clearly harmless.
