Ive finally listened to his preview and someone's translation and I have never wanted to figure out a way to find a fictional character more than I do NOW

Just commented this on someone’s post but I gotta get the feels out on my own blog here because I’m already distraught about how sad Leona’s solo song is going to be even without the translations.

Diadem sounds hopeful and shows that the Savanaclaw boys are determined to change their fates. But, unlike a lot of the other dorm songs, Leona’s taking a back seat and Ruggie is doing most of the work on the song. And you can be like “oh haha that’s just Ruggie and Leona for you!” But it did kind of irk me that we didn’t get a lot of solo Leona lines in the song and now I KNOW it had to be on purpose. Why?

In their dreams both Jack and Ruggie see Leona’s potential to be a good leader. Jack dreams of a perfect scenario where Leona really helped their dorm win the Magift completion between the dorms. Ruggie goes even further, dreaming of a reality where Leona was able to step up and make change in Sunset City. Ruggie’s dream Leona is able to help the struggling hyena community by founding a school there and ensuring future Hyena beastmen are able to thrive. Of course both Jack and Ruggie are going to have the most lines in a song about having the willpower and drive to change fate.

But Leona doesn’t believe in any of that. His dream is arguably a full on nightmare he brought on himself where his family is dead and even though he’s king he can’t seem to solve any of the kingdom’s problems and is actively causing more issues and digging himself into a hole he can’t climb out of so he acts passively out of frustration. He’s forced into a position where he actively needs to give an earnest try and when he does he fails miserably. And judging from the title of “Still Infallible, Until Tangible” his solo song is going to reflect this mindset.

It’s going to be miserable and I’m going to be miserable pleASE LET LEONA KINGSCHOLAR BE HAPPY FOR ONCE IM BEGGING

The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.
