Considering many soldier/builder ant get food/drink from drones and scouts like these feeding them that means that you directly caused at least 37 ants to have a kiss with another ant and share their whiskey. Dont know what you'll do with this information but it feels very cowboy to me so I figured id share it.

Also at least a 1/3 of them are just happy to have a task that feels rewarding. Volunteer makes it sound like they're helping you with some momentous task and they probably bask in being helpful.

Might be the tism but as a kid I was furiously looking for any little thing that would be "helpful" to adults I liked. Teacher said thank you to a kid who picked up her dropped pen once? I was DIVING for every dropped or wayward item to the extent I had teachers asking me to please not leap out of my seat.

I like when I say “do I have a volunteer to—“ to a group of kids and they’re already raising their hands. Bro what if I wanted a volunteer to swim the English Channel wouldn’t you feel silly?
