Sasusaku's second date is spurred on by Naruto's incessant whining that their first date is not a real first date because you can't even cook ramen in two and a half minutes. Kakashi, Ino and Sai, sighs as Sakura reminds Naruto that maybe next time, he should remember to stay on the tree quietly, should they choose to spy next time. Sasuke doesn't bother and teleports them away instead.

Ugh it kills me thinking of Sasuke actually going out and getting a frame for his team 7 photo. He treasured that and couldn't even throw it away. Instead he put that frame down to what he thought would be his last goodbye.

I really didn't like the fact that the bridge was called "The Great Naruto Bridge." I know he's the main character, but so much happened there in regards to team 7. Sasuke re-activated his sharingan, and realized there are people he's willing to die for again. Naruto truly realized that these people cared for him and how much caring for someone really means (in regards to Haku). Kakashi had to relive his past with his genin team almost dying, whilst also having struck a young boy in the heart with his chidori (and I'm sure we all knowwwwwwww what that must have triggered). And then there's Sakura. Sakura realized what the shinobi world is. This would lead her to make improvements on herself because she also wanted to protect Naruto and Sasuke.

I still can't get over the fact that Ino must have known Shikamaru and Chouji for a long time which means she knows Shikamaru is a smart ass. Yet she still had to enter Sakura's mind, memorize the answers (in 2-3 minutes which god bless her, Ino Yamanaka is amazing in skill), and enter Shikamaru's mind to fill out his test because he was too goddamn lazy to answer it himself.

THESE AUS ARE AMAZING hmmmmm 10 s/s!
sasuke is leaning half sitting on one of the small theater’s individual desks when sakura stalks inside, her eyes ablaze and it wasn’t because of the eyeliner.
he only half pays attention to her, expecting her to be annoyed with him for booking the place before she had the chance. it was always the little things with sakura really—cancelling class (“you’re so irresponsible!”), booking the library (“it was my turn!”) and even when he was caught leaving with one of their fellow staff members (“you’re so unprofessional sasuke, really, how can you even live with yourself?”).
she always had something to say and everything he did was wrong.
in that moment, sasuke only looks up because her erratic breathing is annoying and the way she taps her heel expectantly only adds to the sentiment.
he pushes his glasses up his nose and arches an eyebrow. “what now?”
"oh don’t say it like that you son of—"
"now, now, sakura," he almost sneers. "is that a way for professor to speak?"
she presses her magenta painted lips together and looks away for a second. when she turns back to him, she’s managed to hide her fury, arms crossed in front of her chest.
he thinks about commenting on the polka-dot blouse and how her bra is visible and if she’s perhaps trying to seduce someone. he thinks against it and simply shifts in his half stance.
"go on," he drawls and sakura lets loose like a broken dam.
"have you heard about the rumors? about how i’m so in love with you? about how we are not just a ship but a scholarship? do you know how tacky that is, sasuke, really? did you start this—”
"why would i start rumors through my students?"
she huffs. “as if i’d ever waste my time on you.”
he’s looming over her a second later and sasuke smirks at the way she backs away, eyes narrowed and thin brow furrowed.
"they say you want my phd," he murmurs, stuffing a hand into the pocket of his slacks, his eyebrows raised and his smirk almost devilish. "is that right, professor?”
"i—i—don’t be obnoxious, you fool!"
he chuckles and moves aside as she tries to elbow him. she’s stalking away a second later, a sway to her hips, accentuated by her pencil-skirt.
sasuke watches her until she disappears, then looking back down to the sheets in his hands.

If SS ever got a kiss scene, I would want it to be in summer with fireworks (because of that one ending PLUS its totally shoujo-esque).

Calling SS and NH sisterships is kind of irksome, because they are independent ships with fans who don’t necessarily identify with one another.

So I know I'm pretty late for the train here, but honestly I was just hoping for a smidgen of SS in this movie because I knew it was about NH (which I don't quite care for that much, which is why I feel a little gimped). So yes I'm a bit bitter, but why shouldn't I be, this panel right here lead us on.

This isn't just a promise between SS, this was almost (and I say almost because now I can't be certain with this movie) a promise to us. It was an expectation of future interaction that was implied in this movie that happens between 699 and 700.
Honestly there is much more left unsaid about SS than there seems to be time to be told. I need more than just my head canons and more than just a (one) movie to tie up the loose ends.

You know, a lot of us wanted Itachi and Sakura to meet and talk about Sasuke, but the beauty of them not meeting is that they didn't have to. Naruto needed some guidance into saving Sasuke, but Sakura already knew how to love and forgive Sasuke. She was just as unconditional in loving as Itachi that Sasuke could see that in her enough to use the same forehead gesture. Sakura didn't need help in filling his lonely existence with love, she learned and loved more progressively through the manga.
I still wish they met, but coming to this realization makes me feel pretty good about it.
