Iwaoi angst who? It’s 2020, I only know iwaoi crack.
If the tropes and characterizations seem outdated, it’s because this idea was conceived in 2016, just as the last episodes of season 2 were airing. This started out as a single-page comic, and then it spiraled out of control over the years. I’m pretty fond of it, and I wanted to finally get it down on paper.
Also, I know Agamemnon’s a dick, but I love Ushiwaka, really. It’s just Shiratorizawa as the cast of the Oresteia is extremely funny to me.
(The first draft of this comic took itself even less seriously but as I was drawing the Oikawa panels I got weirdly invested in how he would feel acting out those scenes and I actually got a bit emotional?)

The latest guidebook gave us canon sibling info! Makki is sandwiched between two sisters, Mattsun is elder brother to a brother and sister, Oikawa has an older sister and Iwaizumi is an only child!

My multishipping brain is so weird. It’ll be like “ooh new ship,” then I’ll be hyper fixated on that ship until another ship with the same character is discovered. It’ll be like “ooh a good ship, time to put into the pile. Cycle repeat.
Also, I’ll ship one pairing with character A with B, but I ship character B with C. Character C is in another ship with Character D. Character D also fits with character B as well, but only Character A can be with Character B.
An example of this would be in Free! I ship SouRin, but I also ship MakoSou, MakoGou, and SouGou. I’ll never ship Gou with Rin because that’s an incest ship sooo…
Like, Free! Isn’t a good example, but it’s the only one I can think of.
