Phew! Last 20 mile Long Run/Walk before the #lamarathon which was a lot hillier then expected and killed my legs. Beautiful Day yesterday with clean waves and snow capped mountains. Then recovery nap with Cal the Cat. 2 week taper with less mileage. 2nd doze! As I look back to October of last year, when I was infected by COVID-19 and was bed ridden for 14 days with no cure or relief in sight, I am eternally thankful for this moment. Thank You @shariikeda and @ikenapono for all the love and support. I wouldn’t wish this disease on anyone. My Father William “Bill” M. Ikeda passed away on Sunday morning. He lived 83 glorious years, fathered 3 children, me included, and lived a quiet, unassuming life. He was a soft spoken man who blessed me with some crazy creativity. He went rather quickly and peacefully, thankfully not related to the current pandemic. By Executive Order of the Household Boss, I was tasked with hitting stores and supermarkets in search of food. So, I put on my hunter/gatherer cap and stood in line only to find essentials like milk, bread, and meat shelves bare. I did find what I needed at the supermarket and noticed that all the things I like were in stock... then again, I try to eat healthy like fruit, veggies and fish. Also, got cat food for the babies... mission accomplished!
