C: That’s a great idea! Then we can give the girls a little brother. I can’t wait to tell them.

Aisha huffed inside and decided to play alone, hopefully without her sister’s constant criticism. But it didn’t take long before the quiet got boring.

Journey didn’t understand Aisha’s fascination with living in a fantasy world, but she did feel bad for upsetting her sister. Journey decided to build a gift. If they couldn’t go to outerspace, at least Aisha’s squirrel friends could.

J: You know you’re just playing make believe, right? That’s just a doll.

A: Could you just, for once in your life, not ruin everything?

Journey just shrugged and continued to eat her cereal.

A: We should fly up into outerspace today!

J: That’s not a thing that could happen. We would need a rocket.

A: Why do you have to be like this?

The girls were proving to be picky eaters, so Corrinne whipped up a batch of veggie tempura.

C: Gotta get those veggies in somehow

After blowing out her candles, Journey aged into a little girl. Aisha followed behind her.

While Nixon collected the toddlers, Corrinne readied the cake. Even though it wasn’t her birthday, she made a wish for a bright future.

N: Oh, Aisha. Are you still going to be my little peanut?

A: Of course, papa. Play now?

Drink in hand, Nixon reminisced on his life and wondered where this next chapter would take him. He loved being a father and hoped his girls would still appreciate and rely on him when they aged up.

On the other hand, Aisha was more concerned with ruling over her minions.

At the party, Journey was still most excited about becoming a “big girl,” shouting it at great lengths while playing in the ball pit.
