The way I almost cried at the last shot of Young Jun looking at that picture of Ah Sahm. I can't handle the friends to enemies story lines. They always hurt the most.

I took 12 hours to think this through. Here be spoilers for the Warrior finale.

As much as I Iove to further enjoy the impeccable storytelling, the story is complete. The chinese exclusion act is going to come into existence anyway so no matter how hard Chinatown fights against it, it doesn't matter.The California Workers Party is birthed, so that's history already written. It's just tragic Ah Sahm defeated Leary with his fist, but inadvertently made Leary realizes that he can defeat the chinese only through politics, policies & the law.

Everyone around Ah Sahm is now problematic. Penny is in an asylum - the fitting end to an industralialist no matter well-meaning her character is. Whatever Sophie do now is of no effect. Young Jun now sees Ah Sahm as a threat. Their relationship will never be the same again.

The more articulate & the people person Hong is tong advisor now. Mai Ling is hell-bent on destroying her own brother. Her last act of goodwill was when he was in jail, thinking he would return to Fushan. Her policy changed when he stayed. This two could go back & forth forever.

But, if Buckley/Zing/Li Yong goes jon snow on Mai Ling, Ah sahm will fight for her life ad infinitum. Mai Ling can see his brother dead because she's all vengence but Ah Sahm never could do that to her because she's his l'll sister & they both know that. The bitter end is set.

Ah Toy & Nellie's story is one and complete. Bill and Lee's stories are complete too. Zing will come back, cause chaos and the exclusion act is the final nail in the proverbial chinatown coffin.

Chao will go on with his roundabout business to no consequence on the inevitable exclusion act. Father Jun's story is complete.

Most importantly, Ah Sahm's story is complete. He's been fresh off the boat, tong hatchetman, a coolie, tong advisor, vigilante & finally, the hero of his people. His end, for any continuation will be painful.

Therefore, I take that limping trudge in the rain, that Keanu-esque moment with gratitude. What a blast it has been. It messed up my brain, a worthy interpretation of Bruce Lee's ideas. The only reason it doesn't get the attention it deserves is because it's hard to swallow.

Me feeling high-key stressed, because they will most defenetly try and pit Young Jun and Ah Sahm against each other.

Also that scene where they talk about him being Young Jun's right hand held so much romantic chemistry and devotion I- I can't.

Warrior season 2 is giving me all sorts of anxiety at all levels. Plot level anxiety, the series' future anxiety, my own anxiety looking at all these beautiful actors.

If they ruin Ah Sahm's and Young Juns's friendship I will riot.

i am so tired of female protagonists being criticised for being stoic or not overly expressive... like i've heard it too many times: katniss everdeen, carol danvers and most recently mulan from the live action remake. it is a tiring critique based on a double standard and an expectation that women are inherntly more emotional and express their emotions vividly. not everyone reacts to, shows and expresses emotion the same way, get over it.

I read somewhere that they film as the episodes air & i bet the writers are going shit this thing is gonna go dark very dark from now on. What have we done jcih

The colossal mess Ri jeong hyuk is in: a blown up military truck, a destroyed military bike, a killed military personnel, a missing member of the national sports team. I can see how the whole thing can go very wrong at the end & i wont be at all surprised.

not to be over dramatic but crash landing on you is the only good thing happened to me in the last few weeks
