Kumiko couldn't help but giggle once more. "...My apologies in advanced if I messed up too, I don't really interact with anyone, let alone boys. Especially with boys I like." She mumbles to herself, following the musician into the restaurant, when they were seated Kumiko simply glanced at the other, twisting a lock of her hair around her fingers.

"Hideki-san I-" She was completely cut off when the waiter had come, she jumped slightly. When the waitress asks for drinks, Kumiko obviously ordered for some more coffee. "What about you, Hideki-san?"

Red dusted his face. “Ah.. okay,” he muttered, grinning to himself. “Let’s be off then?”

Hideki linked his arm with Kumiko’s, the smile still wide on his face. Finally, he was getting somewhere with a girl he liked. “I’m really flattered you agreed to go anywhere with me, y’know. I’m not really that used t’ bein’ around a girl for this long, so I’m gonna apologize in advance if I mess up.” The grin didn’t fade away. He couldn’t really believe his luck. “Just in case.”

She reached up to put a hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort the other, but it was quite difficult for her height. "I try to be optimistic...I really can't stand seeing people upset..It makes me sad too and plus, I can't really process negative things..So basically being optimistic and animating is all I really have. Oh and coffee. I love coffee." She smiles proudly and takes another sip of her drink. "Am I rambling off again? Sorry."

Hachirou was walking to the cafeteria, while playing a game on his Playstation Portable, and as normal, he was not looking where he was going. Incidentally, he bumped into a girl, dropped her coffee. He quickly shoved the hand-held into his pocket, "Oh god, I'm so sorry!" He held a hand out for her to grab if needed.

Kumiko fell back, her jaw dropped to see her delicious cup of coffee spill all over the ground, looking up to see the student, she simply smiled and grabbed his hand. Standing up she let out a sigh.

"No worries, I wasn’t looking. I should be apologizing." She gave the other a warm smile, reaching down to pick up her mug. "Ah, looks like I’ll need to brew some more later." She mumbled to herself, looking back at the other she stuck of her free hand. "I’m Kumiko, Super High-School Level Animator at your service!"

Kumiko looked up at the taller male and smiled lazily, taking a sip of her delicious coffee, clearing her throat afterwords.

"Greetings," she spoke softly, "My name is Kumiko! I'm also known as the Super High-School Level Animator...It is a pleasure to meet you." She smiled brighter and bowed after her own little introduction.

Kumiko smiled lazily at the the other. Taking a sip of her coffee, she stuck out her hand, her smile widening. She enjoyed meeting new people.

"My name is Kumiko Nakazawa, I am also known as the Super High-School Level Animator! Pleased to meet you..So, Anthony, what is your talent?" She asked, tilting her head.

"There’s quite a lot of you here, I didn’t expect this number to actually show up."

He mentally slapped himself for reacting that way in front of the main course students. He shouldn’t act surprised nor show any form of awe, they’re all students in this academy, talent or not. 

"…Excuse my behavior earlier, my name is Anthony Chan, it’s a pleasure to meet you all."

Kumiko puffed her cheeks out, a bit upset that he was going to pay for her, but she was too hungry and tired to discuss it any further. She let out another breath.

"Alright, if you insist, Hideki-san." She huffed out, crossing her arms and looking over to where he pointed out. Her smile brightens as she nods quickly. "Yes, yes..That sounds lovely, as long as I'm spending time with you, Hideki, I would go anywhere..To be honest here." She said slowly, taking a sip of her coffee.

Hideki heard her giggling and smiled. Seeing what she was doing, he decided to test it out himself, only to be reminded that his tongue was still sore. Wincing a bit, he listened as she replied to him.

"Nah, I’m payin," he said flatly, glancing down at her. "It’s only polite for me t’ treat you to a good meal on me. I guess we can go to that.. generic lookin’ restaurant over there if ya’d like. Sound good?"

The animator looked around and breathed out, her breath making a small cloud. Amused at that, she let out a small giggle. Then kept on breathing out to look at the small cloud she made. Realizing she had delayed the other's question she cleared her throat and took a sip of her coffee.

"You don't have to pay, Hideki-san...And anything is fine with me..As long as we get out of the cold and you're happy, I'm fine."

"You’re welcome," he said softly, wrapping his arms around her. "Hey, how about we go get somethin’ to eat. It’s gettin’ pretty damn late, and I’m kinda starving." The musician pulled away. He wasn’t just hungry, he could also feel his ass freezing off.

"Uh.. my treat, of course. I dunno if you wanna go to one of those lousy chain restaurants or not, but that’s just about all there is around here," he mused, looking around. "Unless you feel like walking again."

Kumiko felt herself blush also. She continued to walk, listening to every word the other was speaking. Luckily for Kumiko she had gloves and was prepared--yet, she was still so cold.

"Your voice is quite soothing, I like listening to you sing..Sometimes I fall asleep even..." She trailed off, blushing harder at the fact that he actually has time to watch her dumb animations. "T-thank you.." She mumbled, turning to face him and giving him a great big hug.

He scratched his head. “Ah. Well, for one, you’re the prettiest girl I’ve laid eyes on. You’re not disgusted by me like most everyone I’ve ever met.”

 His face reddened. “Uh.. I’ve also noticed you goin’ into the studio while I’m practicing. I just pretended not to see.. that’s really flatterin’, how you actually stay and listen.” Hideki smiled down at her. “I also like your little animations. They’re cute.” The musician shoved his hands hands into his pockets, shivering a little. His jacket didn’t do too good of a job blocking out the cold.

"I know." She stuck out her tongue slightly and having her head held high. "You and smooth don't go in the same sentence." She snorted and looked around at the scenery, a satisfied sigh escaping her lips, upon hearing his question she froze slightly. 

"I like you because--I don't know how to describe it, Hideki-san..You're kind..Even though you don't know when to shut up..I enjoy your presence a lot..Even though you don't know it..Often when I'm sad you tend to make me happy..Not many people can do that, Hideki-san..If I were to go on it would take awhile..Plus this is quite cheesy..So, Hideki-san, what about you? Why do you like me?"

"Wow," he said dully, mockingly glaring down at Kumiko. "You’re lucky you’re cute," muttered the musician, fixing his beanie.

"First of all, I’m never that cheesy when I hit on people. I’m smooth as fuck, if you hadn’t noticed." He smiled, showing his teeth. Hideki felt lucky to be around Kumiko. It was nice walking around the park with her.

"So uh. Why do you like me?"

"It's going to be alright," she reassured the game developer, a smile on her face. "I believe in all of us that we will stick together...We can all fight together and take down this evil mastermind who has put all of us behind this...I can not and will not allow this despair to get to anybody!" She exclaimed and slammed her fist down onto her hand. She picked up her mug once more to take a sip of her drink. "I am sure we will be fine if we work together."

"I usually stay at home...Because of my talent...Going out isn't much of an option for me either." She explained looking around the park, a fascinated look on her face. "Exploring and discovering new things has to be one of my favorite things to do. My other favorite thing to do is you." She gave the other a wink, and giggled to herself.

"My apologies, I thought that was funny!" She smiled to herself, taking a sip of her coffee. "Besides, I thought I kinda sounded like you when you're trying to hit on someone.." She looked up at the other and grinned.

"Eh? Didn’t take you for one who’s into nature," Hideki muttered, tightening his grasp around her hand. "Alright. I’ll take you there."

Now it was his turn to drag her around. Grinning in her direction, he began walking toward the park. It was kind of dark during the winter, and really cold, but it was a nice place to take a walk. Since this was the less populated area of the city, there were few people walking along the cobblestone path admiring the scenery. “Smells like earth,” he commented as they drew closer.

Kumiko's face lightened up at the mentioning of a park. She nodded her head quickly, and quickly took a sip of her drink, her hand making it's way to the other's, grabbing a hold of it. She used her free hand to adjust her scarf, she breathed out before she finally spoke.

"Yes! I uh, yeah..A park would be lovely, Hideki-san! Lead the way, if you wish.." She mumbled, trailing off.

Hideki studied the area. Shops lined the sidewalks, which were a mixture of candy stores, clothing stores, and.. oh, he knew this part of the city. He had performed at one of the bars before.

"Yeah, I know this place. There’s a park nearby, if you’re into that," he said, pointing down the street. "There’s also some record stores, candy shops, an’ one of those places where clothes are a hundred bucks a piece."

He glanced in her direction. Was this a date? He would have much rather taken her to a restaurant or something. The only one around here was one of those lousy chain places.

"Thank you, I suppose," She breathed out, finally making it towards the less populated part of the city, she released the grip she had on him and placed a hand on her chin, pondering for a bit.

"Well, I don't really get out much, so to be honest I don't know where we are. But I'm sure you do, right?" She asked the other, hoping that they weren't lost. "But-- if you don't...Spending some quality time with you while we're lost shouldn't be a tragedy." She smiled up at the other, continuing to walk.

Hideki’s eyes widened in surprise as Kumiko gripped his hand and began pulling him through the streets.

"You’re pretty strong for someone so.. what’s it called? Petite?" He said this between breaths as she tugged him along, surprised that she was even doing this in the first place. "It’s okay, I like fast, anyway."

The musician stayed silent as she led him along the sidewalk, passing numerous shops as they went. A few people stared in their direction, wondering why they were in such a hurry, but Hideki didn’t notice them. “So uh… where are you takin’ me?”

"Of course not," she smiled, noticing that everyone was looking at them she felt herself flushing even more, she grabbed her coffee, and then Hideki's hand. Dragging him along as she rushed out of the store.

"Hideki-san...I realize..That you are not used to this...My apologies for taking things too quick, I suppose." She took a sip of her coffee, still dragging the musician through the city.

"Say, Hideki-san...I'd rather have us talk some where quiet...And somewhere where nobody could ease drop..." She takes a sip of her coffee.

He looked away, pulling his beanie down again.

I don’t understand any of this. I’m used to just fantasizing and admiring from a distance. I didn’t really expect to get my feelings returned.. oh brother.

"I.. I hope this doesn’t really change too many things between us, Kumiko," Hideki muttered, grinning to himself a bit. He couldn’t help but feel a little happy at the moment.

"Hideki-san, you may never know how to keep your mouth shut at times...But I cannot explain the way you make me feel at times.." She mumbles, a bit embarrassed that it came out in such a cheesy way. She removed her hands from his face, pulling up her scarf to cover her face, looking off to the side.

"Hideki-san....Kiss me already." She muttered into her scarf, glancing back at the musician.

Boy, today was get Hideki flustered day or something, because it was all he could do to not start screaming every time Kumiko came close to him. Her hands were really warm and soft. “Ahh…you do?” He felt his cheeks getting hot under her touch.

"Why, though? The only redeemin’ quality about me is that I can kinda make music…" His voice trailed off as those shining red eyes bored into his. "Uh."

Kumiko froze in her spot, cursing herself. Now if she were to storm off she would look like an asshole. She let out a small sigh and slid out of her seat. Walking over to the musician's seat, she pulled the other's beanie up, placing both of her hands on his face. She turned the other's head so now they were facing each other. Kumiko looked down at him and smiled, the damn blush never leaving her face.

"Hideki-san, I'm not angry," she spoke softly, "I--I uh, feel the same way, Hideki-san....."

Hideki felt quite nervous at this point. “I lied,” he muttered, pulling his beanie over his eyes. “It’s you. I jus’ didn’t wanna embarrass myself, y’know..”

He wanted to bite his tongue again. Again, smooth like the rocky mountains. “Uh.. don’t get mad at me, Kumiko. Actually.. get mad. Or don’t. Do whatever ya want.” Hideki pulled his beanie down further, nearly covering his mouth. “Throw that coffee in my face and storm out for bein’ such a dullard.”

Kumiko listened to the other speak, when he had finished blabbering she sat in her seat, processing the message. It took her awhile, but she eventually got it, she pulled up her scarf to cover her very big and very obvious blush that had formed on her face. Damn pale skin, making it obvious that she was blushing.

"I see." She muttered to herself, she looked as if she was going to take her cup of coffee and run out the shop, and she had that plan in mind. Her hand inching towards the coffee mug.

"You’re talkative today, ain’t ya," he muttered, a bead of sweat trickling down his temple. Scratching his face, he replied, "Well, she’s short and she likes caffeinated drinks so much to the point she’s utterly dependent on them." He looked to the side, biting his tongue again, except this time it was on purpose. Why’d I go and say that? It’s obvious now.

"Uh.. it’s not you though.. yeah."
